I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love autumn the most. What’s not to love? Our side of the world is turning into a masterpiece of colors, crisp leaves, comfort foods and cozy blankets.

I get it…it’s only just September. In fact, my birthday is next weekend (Sunday incase you’re wondering)…but I couldn’t resist making Christmas Crack yesterday, now affectionately called Santa’s Saltine Toffee.
I’ve been making this for 12 years and counting, and for the first time this year, it will be available on my website!

Did you know-that I’m the founder of Getting into Truffle!? Hey there, My name is Krissy!
I opened in the heart of the pandemic, where I sold over 900 Hot Chocolate Bombs JUST in November 2020. With the threat of Covid, my photography business took a hit, and to quote tik tok, I was bored in the house and in the house bored. I started off making HCB’s just for friends and family, where I quickly exploded onto everyone’s Christmas lists, stocking stuffers and staff parties. Soon I found myself working full time in the kitchen, selling my treats in 10 different boutiques around Alberta!

These days, Getting into Truffle is seasonal…and I’m happy with that! But that means, definitely get them while they’re hot!!!
