With my second son growing & the weather getting warmer (I hate that we have snow 6-7 months of the year) I’m finally tackling projects again!
Grateful to be getting reacquainted to my paint brushes and sandpaper.

This is so different from my regular creations.
I tried green… which is not popular here.
I tried gold wax… which I’ve never done.
Then I sealed it with clear wax… which was the wrong choice for the mental state I was in 😂
Anyways. It’s for sale.
Super quick flip - we need this gone 😂
Decided to keep the top the natural wood instead of play around with some washes and stains - I felt it didn’t look as bad as I had originally thought. We’ll see how long she takes to find a home. But for now, we like having her in our living room 😍
Temporary name change & logo. Opening up the opportunity to create more things outside of the genre of furniture, though that will still be a big part of this page.
With the belly getting bigger and baby arriving at the end of the summer it just means I won’t have as much capability for the outdoor creative outlets for a while.
Also - in full transparency, the little blue sander (the actual orbital sander I used) wasn’t mine… I’m using a yellow one right now 🤷🏼♀️😂
Hope you’ll stick around for some new creative content 🤗
On top of the move, this is just another reason content has been in short supply 😂
Little bro coming November 💙
We’re finally (mostly) all moved in.
Our house in incredibly tiny, no garage or space to work, but I’ll figure something out. I miss being out creating things.
As we’re settling into our new community, I’m continually blessed by the kindness of strangers.
This table was the last project I did before we moved and it’s suiting us for now.
My to-do list is endless but one project at a time is how things get done, right?
Looking forward to finding some pieces and trying to accomplish lots while the sun shines and the daylight is long.
Little throwback to my very first project. Found this little table for free in someone’s drive way.
I’m very thankful that I had the courage to try something new. Just took a leap knowing absolutely nothing.
Even though my time is so sporadic and I don’t get out to the garage as much as I’d like, I’m still thankful that when I do, I enjoy it. I have loved being able to support my family in the few bills or unexpected expenses I’ve been able to cover.
Every piece is contributing to my life in more ways than one.
Thank you for everyone who has supported me with words, advice, purchases, and donations. I see every single one of you❤️
Just a little touch up is all 🎨
What a makeover. Glad I did the black 🖤
Available for purchase 🙌🏼
This is my passive aggressive way to tell my client that they can’t have the dresser anymore because I’m keeping it for myself.
Thanks for participating in this takeover ✌🏼
First time experimenting with black wax … I kind of enjoyed it 🤭
Currently available for purchase 🥳
Pretty boring for the amount of time this hardware took me 🙃

Little first refinishing project of mine.
This coffee table I picked up for free in someone’s driveway.
I looked at this as a learning experience - a time to try all the techniques and just find my groove. After too many hours and many mistakes, I finished.
A few days later I posted it for sale and in the matter of hours, it sold.
What an encouragement to keep going, keep learning, and continue expanding my skill.
Working on my next project already and I am so excited to share some behind the scenes here.
Thanks for joining me 😊
The before & after 🥹
Currently for SALE
Oh hey 👋🏼 I’m Sam.
Just gonna drop a little introduction here.
I’ve always had an interest in furniture flipping but have never had the space to store or work on projects. Finally the season of my life just kind of lined up after our son was born and we moved to an acreage with a garage and some starter tools.
So here I am. Beginning a new journey. I hope you enjoy watching me learn & find some inspiration to start whatever it is that has been on your heart & mind.
Some things about me:
- chicken wings are my favourite food
- I love
- I’m a PK (Pastor’s kid)
- and being a mom is my all time favourite thing in the world
Thanks for being here 😊
