La Sportiva Futura and Mantra are now in stock at Boulders!

These soft rubber shoes are perfect for gym climbing and feature La Sportiva's "No-Edge" technology, which makes the toes super sensitive and promotes footwork precision!

Fems & Thems is this Saturday! Book your spot in this community-driven event for women, non-binary, trans and genderqueer climbers. Coaches will offer a free Intro to Bouldering class and informal skills coaching for more advanced climbers, so you can learn AND make friends at the same time.

This June, Rock Jungle is matching Charity Climb donations for up to $1500! 💰 If the $10 day pass didn't already tempt you, you will now be doing TWICE AS MUCH GOOD for this amazing group, just by coming to climb.

Charity Climb runs every Tuesday from 11am-3pm. Instead of buying a day pass, you make a minimum $10 donation (though you can donate any amount) to our monthly partner. This month is the CHEW Project, who we've worked with before and are so excited to support again. 🏳️‍🌈

A new set went up in the Cave today - you'll really want to focus on keeping your feet on the wall as you climb that steep angle! Plus, there's a huge kneebar somewhere in there. Let us know when you find it. 🕵️‍♀️

New set on the Orb today, after no Holiday Monday set. We know you're all itching for new problems!

Today's set focuses on body-positioning and really leveraging your feet to pull through the powerful moves on the starts. The shape of the Orb means almost every boulder has a taste of overhang AND slab, so get ready for this new set to test your whole range!

We're looking for a few new folks to join our routesetting team! Routesetters generally work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays, and may be asked to set at any of the three gyms.

Wait, we should probably tell you this week's sets were on the 25/35 and Top Out Slab! Lots of new boulders for you, including some really dynamic fun. We just got distracted, cause... good dog!

It's glorious springtime, and a great time to celebrate our Karma MVPs so far this year! These crushers show up in the early morning or late night to keep the gyms clean, the walls fresh, and the vibes incredible. Let's meet Alma, Connor, and Anton and see what they're all about.

Alma thinks vacuuming the mats is extremely satisfying, and that Karma is a great way to warm up for a morning climb - the gym is quiet when Karma ends, and the muscles are ready to go. When not climbing, she does Ninja! 💪

Connor loves that Karma lets him save money WHILE spending time with amazing staff and other Karma folks! He got his first cell phone when he was 19 and still uses it to this day - this would not be particularly impressive if he was still 19 - but he's not, so it is. 🤳

Anton enjoys cleaning the East Bay! No shade on West Bay, but East is particularly satisfying to work through. He loves to cycle when not on the wall. 🚲

YOU can sign up to Karma Clean if you want to join these crushers on the Karma squad! You get 1 week of membership per hour of your time, which we reckon is a pretty fun trade.

New sets on the East Cave and Island this week! We're not sold on "diamonds are a girl's best friend," but diamonds might be a climber's best friend as you check out the geometric setting experiment the team tried today! Not a fan of diamonds? Never fear, we have plenty of other shapes across the rest of the set for you. 🔶🟦🟢

Meanwhile in the East Cave, the big volume stack looks like an upside down birthday cake, and calls for some cool pressy movement, on the yellow three and blue seven especially! 🎂

🌟 New sets go up twice a week at Boulders, on Mondays and Wednesdays. You can find out which set is new or upcoming by checking the gym map in the warmup area! This week has been East Slab and the Pool.

In the morning on set days, each of the 4 routesetters puts 3-4 problems on the wall - this is a rough draft of the boulder that will usually see a lot of changes before it's opened up to climb! 📄

In the afternoon, they work as a team to test (aka "forerun") every problem together. It's a looooonnggg time to wear climbing shoes, so you'll often see them in street shoes when they can manage it. We know it's tough sometimes to see a setter climb your proj in their Vans, but don't worry - it's just to save their little toesies! 👣

New set on the Life Orb™! This section of wall usually features muscley starts and slabby, balance intensive finishes. Maybe these things feel like Death to you, but we think you'll find a few routes that really make you feel like a Star. No, not a death star, silly, a Climbing Star! 😁⭐

Late Night is TONIGHT!

Probably none of us can be quite as stylin' as these cool cats, but showing up for the Late Night is a good first step. We've brought in cream liqueur from local distilleries and , we've got walls for climbing, beers for drinking, and (probably) dogs for petting... what more can you ask???

Remember, from 11pm till 4am is MEMBERS ONLY. And if you're not a member, well, it's not too late to start a membership. 🫣

We loved meeting your guests last time, but this time we're back to members ONLY after 11pm. That's annuals, monthly, single month, and karma memberships.
