Hagen Surveys (1982) Ltd. is a legal land survey company specializing in municipal and cadastral surveys throughout Alberta for over 50 years. Our office is located on the east end of Edmonton. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior CAD Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal survey plans and site and topographic surveys using Field Notes and survey plans to current survey standards
- Quality control and calculations for construction layouts
- Work on building upon your knowledge of surveying and drafting skills
Qualifications:
- Have post-secondary training in a drafting program and/or experience in a related field. Preference may be given to candidates with training in survey or civil background
- Have experience using Microsurvey, Civil 3D and Trimble Business Centre for the preparation of survey plans and calculations
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team with Field personnel and Plan checkers
- Must be able to meet deadlines, identify and set priorities
- Must be committed to Professional Development by attending seminars and in house training
