This Tuesday, our Sherwood Park friends started working at Confetti Sweets. We help put label stickers on packages. It is so much fun! :^)!
Last week, we celebrated indigenous culture. We made Bannock, listened to stories, wore our orange shirts and made dream catchers. β€οΈππππππ
Join us this Saturday from 10 AM till 4 PM at Jerry Forbes community Centre for the market. Our friends have been working really hard to make their own orange shirts for national day for truth and reconciliation. We acknowledge that we are working on treaty 6 land, and weβre Excited to continue to learn from and support our indigenous friends.
Hi friends and family, we are in need of your help. We are opening our second centre in Sherwood Park for September and we are looking for items. Do you or someone you know has something from the list below and doesn't need it.
List: tables, chairs, lockers, fridge, microwave, shelving units, craft material, art supplies, colouring books, lamps, exercise equipment and balls, blankets, throw pillows, ball pit balls, mini trampoline, plastic storage bins, musical instruments, washer and dryer, sensory items, paper cutter/slicer, magnetic tiles, garbage bins, recycling bins, boardgames and anything else that could be use at our centre.
Also we are looking for a wheelchair and a stairlift
We appreciate all the help and support you are giving us.

Another great week of summer camp is done! π Art camp was so fun, we did so many activities and we went to many places around town π€© We learn, play, had a good time and we made new friends π Join our community!
This week at camp, we had the amazing opportunity to get a private performance by Jojo .circus at the EdmontonStreetFest π a great performer with funny jokes π€£ the friends really enjoyed it! ππ€©π₯³
First week of summer camp was a blast! Our friends learned how to cut, prepare, cook and clean at the NorQuest kitchen. They did so much cooking all while making new friends, participating in group activities and having a blast π Can't wait for more summer fun at our next week Art Camp ππ€©π

We are a day program but we also like to organize and participate in our special events. We take it very seriously and put all our efforts to make it a success! ππ Come join our community π

Here at DiffAbilititesYEG we focus on developing useful skills that we can use on a daily basis. In big or small groups, we like to practice our writing, counting, fine motor skills, communication, focus, perseverance and much more ππ₯°π₯³π€©π
We love to go out in the community and try new experience. We appreciate a good day at the spray park or the pool. Trying new restaurant or go bowling is always a great recipe for a good time. Celebrating birthdays or having a sleepover makes a great weekend plan. Message us if you would like to join us in Day Program or for Summer Camp π
