Enjoy the big things, sure; but also remember to enjoy the little things, celebrate the little wins and the things you have managed to achieve.

Recognize, process and accept the negatives and losses, but don't dwell, the only time you really lose, is when you don't get back up and keep pushing forward

When you meet a new friend, and you social anxiety kicks in.. my first line is usually, "Can I take your picture?" Bree was a delight. We clicked instantly, lots of laughs and genuine looks. She's now one of my dearest friends and we plan to work more together.

She pulls off the cute look eh?

When life gives you lemons, or in this case grapefruit... have a bath?

Definetly was a fun experience and can't wait to do it again! I've had multiple people step forward with interest to attempt a similar look but make it unique.

With the cost of milk I found an affordable hack that got us the desired effect. A sock full of oats and steeped the bath like it was a giant teapot!

Work hard, and enjoy the fruits of your labor. I want to take on my creative projects and see what I can come up with. This milk bath was a bucket list item, but I think I could do it better on the next one.

Groomsmen, best friends, the people you grew up with, or got up to your wildest shenanigans. However, the first people you'll call when you need something. They would stand by you, fight for you, and congratulate you for all things.

It's quality over quantity. Brothers in arms.

The only thing more important than the perfect dress, is the perfect location for your special day. Trying a new angle, I used my drone to get full property images to remember this brides special day!

A brides best friends. Through thick and thin they support you, love you, and embarrass you.

Today is the hallmark "love" day. Love one another but today, I want you to love you. Remember what makes you happy. Remember the hobbies that bring you joy.

It's never a crime to look forward and prioritize you once in awhile. Stand up for you even if it makes someone else upset because you are important too.

I haven't shot in a long time. I took time off for some mental repair. Right when I was about to dive back in, I was wrongfully terminated from my day job.

Now that my mental is somewhat back on track I'm feeling creative again. With that creativity I remembered this shoot where we played with a bunch of smoke bombs 😍

Throwback: shot this at the infamous "TikTok Tunnel" in YEG my second year living here. This was such a fun time, and a lot of amazing images made.

I am well versed with all aspects of photography and can't wait for my next project.

Life is crap. We can either sit and dwell on it, or stick a finger up, say screw it and continue to find the good. Find something to laugh about.

Life is what you make it. Take the time to process what your going through, but remember to smile, laugh, and remember there are still good things in your life.

It's not -50 in Alberta anymore but it's still chilly enough to warm up and drink a nice hot coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Michelle has always been a pleasure to work with, having fun with various ideas and concepts. I personally enjoyed this little coffee shop shoot because I was able to do what I love(photography) and drink what I enjoy(coffee)

Time for a cheeky 2024. As the holidays have come to an end I have erased my boards and I'm starting fresh. New ideas. New vibes.l and new content!

Took a break from shooting and posting most of 2023. Between work, streaming and always on the go.. the burnout was real.

However now with #2024 I'm ready and itching to shoot.

I will be posting more, booking more, and doing more!

Getting married to your soulmate has meaning in its own right; but to get married in a spot that carries additional value to you, your family, and where you came from makes the day that much more memorable.

Its a mans dream, to find their queen. To provide a loving home and safe place. To spend the rest of their lives with their other half.

Very excited for this groom, and good friend for the next chapters of his life!

Sometimes we just have to laugh. At ourself, the situations were in. Not all days are good days, but not all days are bad either. Remember to smile, laugh and enjoy your experiences.

This weekend is thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?

This weekend I am thankful for friends, family, and my partner. Thankful for the growth of my photography, the growth in my personal career.

This year I want to push myself even further, with more creative ideas and meet more amazing people.

This is my first post in a hot minute. I needed to take some time from photography and from social media to work on me. I went through major surgery, focused up on my mental health, and just wanted to get myself straight. But hey! I’m Dillon. a photographer from Edmonton Alberta, striving to provide images to my clients to make them feel beautiful all while having fun. I'm BACK!
I took a hiatus from Instagram as I was waiting to see what would become of the app, for awhile it was very video content driven which makes it hard for photographers to excel. So I needed to see what the future held.

As per a recent release, they are going back to primarily focusing on images which is great!
