👉 An oxygen system is inherently dangerous because of the contaminates or foreign object debris that can ignite and support sustained combustion. All piping systems have ignition mechanisms. A safe oxygen piping system is one where all ignition mechanisms are inactive. Metallic piping fire events most frequently occur when one or multiple ignition mechanisms are present and active.

In an oxygen-enriched atmosphere, materials have a lower autoignition temperature. When metal filings burn, the temperature can exceed 2700°C, which is twice the melting temperature of the pipe material. Any residual contamination has the potential to become an ignition mechanism that could initiate an oxygen fire.

🐎 It’s been a busy August as the end of rodeo season is in sight for the FourQuest Wild Pony Team and the Pick-Up-Chicks!

🤘 These cowboys and cowgirls had an amazing time competing just down the road in Tofield, Alberta during their Annual Western Days!!

☀️ This was a fun-packed 3-day event, and the kids were the hit of the rodeo as usual!

☁ They just finished a chilly weekend in Rocky Mountain House but didn’t let the rain slow them down as they shined at the World Chuck Wagon Finals!

😎 The kids go back to school next week, but the FourQuest Rodeo kids will still be working hard!

Well, the Calgary Stampede has come to a close for another year!

The FourQuest Energy teams had HUGE success at the ‘Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth’!

This year’s Calgary Stampede did not disappoint, drawing in a record attendance averaging 170,000 people daily, well over a million people throughout the week.

These large crowds cheered on their favourite event - the Wild Pony Racing, energizing these kids to fight hard!

During their 9-day stretch, the FourQuest Energy team was among the top two teams breaking a Stampede history record with a 2.8-second ride!

Let’s not forget our favourite FourQuest Energy Pickup Chicks, who could not walk far into the Stampede grounds without their fans asking to take pictures and for their autographs! We are so proud of these FourQuest Energy Rodeo Kids!
