Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit the AeroTech Consumer Aerospace factory and museum in Cedar City, Utah. If you look closely you'll see Mark, Great Hobbies owner, standing next to the initiator. Our visit was cut short by an emergency evacuation of nearby buildings due to a significant fire at a neighbouring business (see the smoke in the sky?!) We'll share that story soon - a fire in close proximity to a rocket factory is serious business. Emergency crews extinguished the fire before it made it to the AeroTech property.

We had a great day at the Avon RC flyers Annual Fun Fly in Windsor, Nova Scotia today.

It was great to have Sean, the Manager of our new Halifax location there as well.

Thanks to Jon, Trevor, Steve, John, Kevin, Grant, Shane, Sandy and many other appreciated customers for the great chats and photos of aircraft.

If was a wonderful surprise to have our Atlantic own MAAC President, Carl Layden in for the day as well. It had been too long since we had the opportunity to talk hobby!

Congratulations to those who won the Great Hobbies gift cards. It was great to see Omar receive the first gift pulled from the hat!

The flying was fun, the weather was great and the turn out fantastic.
