While on vacation, I met a guy named Napoleon as he was writing up our car rental contract, I couldn’t help but notice his glasses had some serious issues. When I asked about them, he explained that they were so uncomfortable he cut off the temples!
I gasped out loud.

It shocked me that he felt the need to take such drastic measures—this is a clear sign of an ill-fitting pair of glasses and a real miss in customer care. It made me wonder: Has my industry lost its touch? Have clients become so distant, hiding behind screens, filling up Amazon carts, purchasing eyewear online or in box stores that they have forgotten the importance of personalized service?

I felt bad for Napoleon—now his glasses are barely staying on his face. It made me realize how much our industry has strayed from providing the personalized care that people deserve. Customer service isn’t just about transactions; it’s about ensuring comfort, confidence, and quality in every interaction.

That’s why we are so passionate about our mobile optical service. We bring the fitting room to our clients, meeting them where they are and making sure they receive the attention they need. It’s about going beyond the basics and making a real difference in people’s lives.
