Rellik is an 8x award winning, 25 x nominated hip hop fusion artist from Edmonton, Alberta. A proud Indigenous Metis, With over 500 performances and over a decade of experience under his belt, this mid-career artist captivates audiences with his messages which are positive, emotional, humorous and storied with his personal experiences. e with contemporaries like Everlast and Run DMC , as well child hood heroes Buffy St Marie and The Guess Who, Rellik’s musical journey has been a dream come true for someone who has overcome adversity to flourish in his musical career. Compared to the likes of artists like Struggle Jennings, Everlast or Kid Rock, he is heavily influenced by genres outside of Hip Hop, including Country, Blues, Folk and Rock. With songs featured in movies and television, Rellik often collaborates with an array of talented musicians and creative minds, including his steadfast band Signal From Earth. In 2018, Rellik took home “Male Artist of the year” at the Edmonton Music Awards as well as Best Pop Recording and Best Blues recording with his unique mesh of musical genres and creative works, and is currently nomintated for blues recording and indigenous recording of the year at the 2019 Edmonton Music Awards along with best pop recording at the Indigenous Music Awards . Billy Leblanc, better known as Rellik, is an emcee from Edmonton, Alberta. Throughout his career he has rapped alongside Talib Kwali, RA the Rugged Man and Kardinal Offishall also proudly shared the stage with some childhood heroes such as Run DMC, Casual and the Hieroglyphics. Co-founder of one of Edmonton's longest running rap groups 118 which released two albums Project 118: Return to Edlantis in 1999 and Dirty Boulevard in 2005. He has been performing live shows and recording tracks for nearly a decade. Rellik is a gifted wordsmith known for his quick witted and gritty punch-lines, who decided to change directions with this album. He is a true chameleon of the arts and has an incredibly talented group of guys that make up the band Signal from Earth.
