The joy of working with beautiful fabrics, combining different colours and prints, and having fun doing something we love has led us to opening this shop. Our main focus has been modern baby quilts and you'll find these in our shop but Suzanne has recently started longarm quilting for other so you'll see a lot of that on this page. Feel free to reach out if you see something you love or are looking for a longarm quilter to help finish your quilts!

Now I need to slot in a time on my longarm to get it quilted. It's meant to be a gift so I really do need to get it done soon!
Any pantograph suggestions?
The way this quilt is built around the center panel looks so, so good! I love the combination of colours and fabrics. And...the texture is...ππ

Jesse recently submitted a bunch of quilts that I had the privilege of quilting to the Heritage Park Festival of Quilts in Calgary. Her Stagecoach Quilt was displayed at the end of the bed in a heritage house and it looked right at home there π

I absolutely love how this quilt turned out! It'll be in booth at the ππ I'm heading there on Friday - super excited!!
I'll let you in on a little behind the scenes of this quilt.
I was doubting my panto and thread choices the whole way through!! π€·ββοΈ I really don't like that feeling and thankfully it doesn't happen often with quilting decisions! I'm so glad I pushed through (I almost pulled it off the frame at one point) and waited till I could see the whole, overall look of it π

The first 2 sections of my "Courage Dear Heart" quilt! Really happy with my colour choices π₯° I haven't made many quilts that aren't block based so this different for me and I'm so thankful for the clear labeling included in the pattern π
Years of cross-country running made into a memory quilt. Shelley made this special quilt for her son and picked a pretty neat pantograph to go with it! I've never stitched out a panto quite like this and it compliments the quilt so well!

A sweet little baby quilt π» This client wanted all over texture but not necessarily a themed pantograph. This one gives all the texture with a little nod to the rainbows in the fabric. Perfect π

Sloooowly making progress on my Cabin Nights Quilt. I almost always have it at some point when making a quilt where I second guess my fabric choices and am so unsure if I am going to like it. That's where I am right now π¬
Another beautiful panto on another beautiful quilt! I almost always lean towards a neutral, light thread but on this one we chose gold and it looks amazing! π

Perfect timing for me to post after our annual quilt retreat! Every year we choose a quilt block and ask all the quilters to make 1 or 2 (or a few) and bring them to the retreat. Then a few quilters take the blocks home and make a quilt to bring along the following year. We have been donating them to our local Pregnancy Care Center which supports pregnant women in difficult situations. Always a beautiful project to do together!
The first photo shows the quilts made from last year's blocks and the next two are the blocks that were collected this year. This year's pattern was donated by Alison of - thank you!!
Hey! It's me...and my love and biggest supporter π Together we juggle our busy life with 7 kids. He's the one who encourages me to pursue my love of quilting and without him by my side there's no way I could be running this longarm business.
A few quilty things about me:
1. I've been quilting for over 20 years!
2. I started my longarm business in 2021 π
3. I dream of one day being able to free motion quilt on my longarm. There are some inspiring quilters here on IG!π
4. Quilt Canada 2024 is happening in my city this year and I'm excited to go! Will I see you?
I love scrappy quilts and this one has me dreaming of making something similar πππ€

After thinking she was going to go with Baptist Fan for the pantograph, Jesse came across this gorgeous feather panto and decided to use it. It looks so, so good!
We used a double layer of batting to give the quilt a nice weight for her bed.

Block #15 of my paper pieced Eden Quilt π
I don't do much hand piecing during the winter months. It's more of a "take along" project for me but did get pulled out every once in a while.
This king-sized beauty was patiently waiting in Jen's closet for over 2 years! I feel pretty privileged that I had a part in getting it closer to being finished and enjoyed π

These gorgeous Fableism Sprout Wovens have calling my name π I love these colours!
I bought them from before she closed down last year and they've been sitting pretty on my table ever since so I pulled them upstairs to enjoy with the tea Marie-Claude included in my package π
I'm "thinking" of making the Lone Star Quilt from but I'm open to ideas!
Also, tips on sewing with wovens? I never pre-wash but should I wash these?
