Looking for 3-4 skilled laborers with rigging experience for 2 weeks + of camp work starting November 29, 2021.

Key Responsibilities:

-AWP experience a MUST
-Crane/Rigging experience of a minimum of 2 years
-Signaling of equipment (Crane signals)
-Maintain a clean workspace
-Identify and Control possible hazards
-Measure and mark materials, areas, openings and distances, assist in layout
-Perform other duties as assigned by the lead hand or site supervision

Requirements:

-2-3 years general labour experience in a construction setting
-Oilsands or industrial experience an asset
-Mechanically inclined with strong organizational & problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Effective communication skills, written and verbal
-Commitment to safety and quality
-Ability and experience to determine the right tool required for the job
-Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks according to schedule
-Ability to properly lift objects, walk and stand for long periods of time, and work in adverse weather conditions
-Strong consideration given to Local Fort McMurray Residents
-This is a Safety Sensitive Position

Certifications:

CSTS 09 + OSSA Regional or BSO or CSO
OSSA Fall Protection
OSSA AWP course

Over the past week, Fort McMurray was again challenged with a devastating event, this time in the form of a major flood. Fort Mac is strong as evident by its tremendous come-back after the 2016 forest fire. Fort McMurray family, we are here to help again!

We recently finished a Tenant Improvement project to an empty bay at 885 Memorial Drive. Now it’s ready for a tenant, no renovations needed!!

Our Project Manager and trade partners are working hard in downtown Fort McMurray to complete some well needed work to the staircases of our municipal and provincial buildings.

We just finished replacing the original brick tile floor with this 12x24 floor tile in the main floor lobby of the Provincial Building. What a difference it has made as you enter the building!

Our drywall crew started on this Habitat for Humanity home in Beaconhill today. We are aiming to have it ready for texture by Monday so they can start their finish carpentry over the Holidays.

Another project underway in downtown Fort McMurray. This one will provide a new roof over the students heads and includes over 60 units with new shingles and soft metal work.

Over a hundred piles installed through some pretty tough ground conditions. The backhoe is working it’s way out of the interior portion of the building and we should be close to wrapping up installation by this weekend.

Our first predrilled hole in the ground today.
Piling work is officially underway on this project with 153 piles to install about 20ft deep for each one.

Another commercial fit out project just started this week on Memorial Drive. Electrical and Mechanical work to get us started before we frame in some walls.

Surveying stakeout of our commercial build project today with Adam at LN Land Development Technologies. We'll be excavating the building footprint in preparation for screw pile installation shortly.

One of our larger projects this Summer has been renovations to public washrooms and elevator hallways to this busy 9 floor building in town.
Our crew and trade partners have worked tirelessly to ensure we are on on budget and on schedule.

The team (earlier this year) lifted over 90,000 lbs of HVAC equipment for this large commercial project. They stayed focused and most importantly, safe with no incidents.

We’re very excited to soon be breaking ground on this 5,000sqft commercial building on Mills Avenue. Our design team partners at Akron Engineering Consultant's Group LTD have been instrumental in the projects preconstruction phase and getting us ready for construction.
