Couple of plant hangers I finished recently!

It's not much but I finally have a corner set up in my basement for my macrame where I don't have to worry about kids getting into it. No tv down here either so I'm hoping that allows me to be more creative and less distracted while working on pieces.

My wedding backdrop is finally complete.. almost 2000' of cord went into this piece, which would make it my biggest yet. The driftwood was found locally and even chewed by a beaver!

Perfect way to spend a Sunday night. Working on my wedding backdrop and watching some Grace & Frankie.

Time for a little introduction since I haven't posted in awhile

- My name is Maygen
- I was born & raised in Fort McMurray
- I have 2 boys, that have been keeping me very very busy!
- I originally started macrame to make plant hangers to get my plants up from my oldest son's reach when he was just starting to crawl in late 2019. It has grown from that to wall hangings and everything in between.
- Once summer is here you can find me in the garden or at the camper.
- I am getting married in August so I will be sharing sneaks of the wedding backdrop I will be making.

While I won't be super active on here because of life I will still be doing a bit of macrame in my spare time so if you are looking for something please reach out. For now enjoy this beautiful piece I was able to make for myself yesterday when my dad took my oldest out for a few hours and the baby napped.

Mamasaurus and I made this beautiful piece together. She got the hang of weaving really quick!

Finally got to give my Midwife this beautiful piece but so sad it was our last visit! Highly recommend expecting moms to see Taryn & Maddie at Passages Midwives of Fort McMurray I have never felt such level of care and was able to have the most amazing home water birth.

Picture wall hanging, could also be used for bows! This one is spoken for and since our newest addition is not quite a month yet I haven't been doing any macrame but hopefully I will be back at it sooner rather than later. Thank you for sticking with me!

So sorry I haven't been active on my page lately I am still taking the odd custom order and really hoping to get some items made before Christmas. As you can see I am expecting again, very soon actually so life has been a little hectic and I haven't been able to put as much time into my macrame as I would like.
