Here we do believe that GOOD QUALITY flowers can elevate any space 💛

The weather that day was a horror for a florist - the sun, heat and the strong wind at the same time is what kills flowers in minutes. Moreover, once we finished half of the set-up, we got a storm alert. Of course, we had to move everything out of the ceremony zone and set everything back after. The sun and the wind together could make the flowers wilt in minutes so we had to water them every few minutes. The vases we rented were handmade so everyone was afraid they wouldn’t hold water. However, as the vessels were empty, the wind flipped them over and over that broke some of the arrangements we made. All in all we decided to fill the vases with water, tested them and attached to the pillars to secure them tightly and be sure they would not make any surprises during the ceremony - it’s better safe than sorry in everything that can make any unwanted surprise during the couple’s celebration.

Floral design can look very easy and glamorous but that is not because it really is but because we, florists, show only the outer part of the job we make. You never know what can happen during the setup so our cars are always full of the extra things we don’t need at all
during the day. We always take them with us just in case something goes not according to the
plan.

Couples often underestimate cakes. They seem to be just a main dessert but in reality they are more than that. Your guests look at them much more often than they look at your dessert table. They also make an amazing photo backdrop for you as a couple when you cut it in the evening.

Here’re my favourite ideas on how you can highlight your cake with florals:
1. a cake meadow around the cake: this option is perfect if you are going to move the cake table around the reception room.
2. a cake meadow cascading from the cake table - the option will look very unique but it must be set up before the celebration begins.
3. a cake meadow on the floor around the table. This option will work well if your table isn’t moved around. It can be a very cost-effective option if your ceremony zone allows flower repurposing🌸 In this case, flowers you used at the ceremony can be beautifully repurposed to the cake area that will make the cake look luxurious and won’t blow your budget.
4. a cake meadow around the cake and on the floor will be a truly luxurious piece. A meadow on the table must be placed before the wedding while the floor arrangement can be repurposed after the ceremony if design allows. The arrangement will be eye-catching and truly exquisite.

It became hard for me to accommodate every day deliveries, wedding preparations, two kids and my part-time job so I had to define my top priorities. Even though it is a difficult decision, I am closing our every day deliveries. We are completely shifting to wedding and event design and will be happy to make your celebrations look classy. I will still do big floral holidays like Valentine’s and Mother’s Day.

The reason why we decided to make vased arrangements instead of wrapped bouquets for the Valentine’s Day:
🌿 First, these are the arrangements you don’t need to take care of on the holiday;
🌿 The vase looks perfect in the vase so you don’t need to find a perfectly fitting vase and think if it is going to look good in your vase or not. It will bring only joy and wonderful memories.
🌿 There is no need to worry about a vase if you’re in a restaurant; The arrangement is in water and doesn’t require any efforts once you get home. Just make sure it has enough water after transportation.

Some beautiful pampas we have in the shop. Just to remind you - we work every day from Monday to Saturday and accept same day pickup/delivery orders till 1 pm💛 So happy to see you with me and us🥰

A few days ago, I asked you how long (in your opinion) does it it take for us to make a mood board. There were lots of different answers (and lots of them were right). To prepare a shortest mood board (for a bridal bouquet, and a boutonnière) we spend about 4 hours. And it takes us at least 10 hours (without breaks) to make a full service wedding mood board (but let’s be honest, no one can do it with no breaks). Why does it take so much time?

A mood board is not just a document with pictures. It is a set of our ideas that we generate for not even a day. For us, every couple is very unique (because they really are) - every couple has a different story, different character, different personality, style, likes and dislikes and many many other things. We want to make your day look not just as a next beautiful picture from Pinterest but we want to make it look as a fairy tail - your personal fairy tale. You will come to the memories of your Big Day not once, and not even a hundred times.

We never start working on the document immediately - we meditate for hours (really, days and nights - I often see your weddings in my dreams) to make something unique. (My husband hates it but I often watch a movie not watching it😅) Afterwards, we start looking for some parts to show you what we mean via pictures; and sometimes it’s soooo hard to do it. Sometimes we don’t find what we want to make, and then we find another ways to explain what we recommend. All of that takes time - much time. Sometimes, we need a pause to find the way that looks better... and we make it.

We do our best to create magic for you that would look personal, elegant, romantic and beautiful. Our purpose is to create a separate story with flowers - as you two are a separate wonderful story💛

I am really thankful to all the brides-to-be, who write me warm words and give me carte blanche when preparing their wedding design. One can imagine how important it is for a floral designer as an artist - it is such a gem to have freedom in my creativity- it seems my brain and creativity release from the jail, and all my soul fills with fresh water. Styling your wedding florals with such a gorgeous flowers is such a gem😍 BTW I never used to love roses but it changed when I became a floral designer. There are so many varieties that look really gorgeous - their price bites a little to be honest but each of them will surely add so much charm to any arrangement💕
