I just wrapped up a super fun session with a stunning popping pink mascara bottle on a pink background, adding a splash of creativity with paint dripping over the top. This was all done in-camera, —just playing with lights and angles to make the product pop against the monochrome theme. Getting the paint to drip in just the right spot was a challenge, but that’s what makes it so rewarding! 💄📸

There was something so special about the era of 35mm cameras—the sound of the shutter, the anticipation of waiting to develop the film, and the craftsmanship that went into every shot. At the time, 35mm film was cutting-edge technology, revolutionizing photography and making it more accessible than ever before. It had its time to shine, capturing memories in a way digital cameras can never fully replicate.

I recently photographed this classic Pentax camera, a true relic of those days. The beautiful gradient background—shifting from vibrant yellow to soothing green—was crafted using studio lighting and coloured gels, bringing this piece of history into the modern age with a stunning, bold twist. It’s a reminder of where photography started and how far we’ve come! 💛💚

The key is to experiment with light placement and diffusion to get that perfect gradient. Plus, the best part? You don’t need anything fancy.
