In June, We celebrate the month of National Indigenous History by reflecting upon the contributions and sacrifices made by the Indigenous people. June 21st is the National Indigenous Peoples Day.

Happy Nurses Week!

This week we celebrate so many wonderful nurses here in our community! There are hospital nurses, care facility nurses, homecare nurses, palliative care nurses, oncology nurses, the list goes on and on! We have some amazing RN’s, LPN’s, NP’s, MOA’s, HCA’s and Home Support workers in this city!

Here at Health Hub we also want to recognize some wonderful nursing staff we have had both past and present in our clinic. Currently we have Pam (MOA), Krista (MOA), Liza (LPN), Sydney(LPN) and Ashley our Clinic Manager, LPN. So much work goes into a clinic and we appreciate all of your hard work, dedication and love that goes into our patient care.

We would also like to give a Special shout out to Kelly (LPN) who was part of our clinic for a short time and did a wonderful job while Ashley was away having surgery! Thank you for all you did Kelly!

On behalf of the staff at Health Hub today we celebrated double birthdays! Yesterday was our Pharmacist Ankit’s Birthday and today we celebrated Dr. Elemuo’s Birthday. Happy Birthday to both of then! We are thankful for all the care they provide to our customers and patients!

Health Hub Medical Clinic will be open for Walk-in clinic this morning starting at 10:00am! All patients must bring your provincial health care card along to your appointment!

Walk-In Clinic will be available Tomorrow January 6 at 10:00 am. First Come First Served, come get your name on the waitlist at 10:00am and we will let you know what time roughly to return for your appointment.

We will post future dates when walk-in clinic will be available on Saturdays. Walk-In is subject to Physician Availability as well as Staff Availability.

Our hearts are broken and very heavy today as we share the sudden passing of Dr. Peebles. He was an incredible human being, compassionate physician and loved member of our community.

We extend our love, care and compassion to his family and our health care professionals who we work alongside everyday while we grieve this devestating loss.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of Dr. Tom Peebles on June 7, 2023.

Dr. Peebles was more than just a medical professional; he was a beacon of hope, healing, and kindness. Through his dedication and unwavering commitment to patient care, he left an indelible mark on the communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, and beyond. The loss is truly immeasurable, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives were profoundly impacted by his presence.

A compassionate listener and a skilled physician, Dr. Peebles exemplified the very essence of the medical profession. His unwavering dedication and tireless efforts to improve the health and well-being of others was truly inspirational.
