Here are some things to look out for to ensure proper form while doing the warrior 2 pose in yoga:
1. Feet placement: Begin by standing with your feet wide apart, one foot facing forward and the other foot turned out to the side. Ensure that your front heel is aligned with the arch of your back foot.
2. Knee position: As you bend your front knee, ensure that it tracks over your toes and doesn't collapse inward.
3. Pelvic alignment: Keep your pelvis in a neutral position, with your tailbone pointing down towards the floor. Avoid tucking your pelvis or arching your lower back excessively.
4. Spine alignment: Lengthen your spine and keep your chest open as you sink deeper into the pose. Avoid rounding your back or hunching your shoulders.
5. Arm and hand placement: Bring your arms out to the sides with your palms facing down. Reach out through your fingertips and engage your arm muscles. Ensure that your shoulders are relaxed and away from your ears.
6. Gaze: Look over your front hand, keeping your neck in line with your spine.
7. Breath: Take slow, deep breaths as you hold the pose, and try to relax any tension in your body.
Remember to listen to your body and modify the pose as needed. If you experience any pain or discomfort, ease out of the pose and consult with a yoga instructor or healthcare professional.
