This post is to break misconceptions about lash styles. Many extension getters will stick to certain styles, not because they necessarily prefer it but because they have a misconception of the other styles....for instance, some clients are afraid of volumes because they think it’ll be “too much” but volumes can be customized to be light, wispy, or dense and volumes are especially a great fit for those that have sparse lashes.
One of the many pros to lash extensions is that they are completely customizable and interchangeable!...I change between all 3 styles almost every other fill because I just love them all! 💞
Each style whether it’s classic, hybrid or volume is customized to your eye shape, natural lashes & your personal preference of styling.
Classic sets aren’t only for those that want a natural light look, they can also be dramatic. Hybrid sets aren’t only for “playing it safe”, and Volume sets aren’t only for those that want dark dramatic lashes. Next time you get a set I encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and try a different style!

During a consult I love when clients describe what they’re looking for and together we talk out a custom look, it allows me to be creative and try something I haven’t done before♥️ This clients set turned out beautifully and I’ve decided to call this look an Ombré Effect ✨
An Ombré Effect set is perfect for someone who likes a little drama or density on the ends but likes to keep it light and natural in the inner corners.
For this set I started with classics on the inner corner, then transitioned into a light hybrid and then into a volume set on the ends.

This style is a volume set but with non fanned out lashes. This look is completely versatile and can be done with a mix of either very narrow fans or even singles for a hybrid set. Even though they aren’t fanned out they still have a thin base and cause no damage to the natural lash.

Had the pleasure of lashing this boss babe today. She’s rockin’ a longer length Classic Set 🔥
I typically don’t use longer lengths because;
1) most clients don’t have the natural lashes to support them
2) they can be over powering on the eye
However, If you have long, thick natural lashes like this client, longer lengths are perfect! 👌🏼

This client wanted some green added so we did a subtle green ombré set 💚

Lash extensions don’t need to be long to achieve a dense look. In fact, shorter lengths actually work better for that, while still being more natural looking.
The longest length on this set is 10mm.
