Yesterday I showed you this lovely ladies' full sets 1 year apart. Her first set in August was done after the top before photo was taken. The top photo shows her lashes when she first came to me a year ago in August 2023.

The bottom photo shows her lashes this September 2024 after one year of consistent lashing by myself, Lauryn. This bottom photo shows over 5 weeks of retention and growth wearing 7mm-19mm extensions. Notice how even at 5 weeks her longest extensions, which are approximately 17mm-19mm are only just beginning to turn over eventhough they have grown out more than halfway. This is expert knowledge in lash math. This is how I am able to provide your dream set with any length. I understand exactly how much weight each lash can hold even when it grows and sheds. My loves, this is a message I never wanted to type or thought I would have to.

It's time for me to take a step back. I'm not disappearing and I am still moving forward in my career, but thing's are going to look a little differently for me from now on.

I am not ok. I am burnt out and I am now medically disabled due to physical, mental, and environmental strain. I am now hooked up to a machine everyday. That's just the unmasked blatant truth. I have spent the last 5-6 years putting my heart and soul into my business and career. So much so, that I became my business and I've burnt myself out. I was following the path of mentors who preached you had to give and show up 200% of the time. However, a new mentor came around and gave me insight on what it truly means and looks like to be successful. She has given me tools I will be using in order to help rebrand, and heal.

What this means is that I will be limiting the way I interact. For years I have tried to keep up with all these social media platforms, and I simply cannot keep up any longer. I will no longer be monitoring social media messages. I must put the focus on the clients booked in who need my attention immediately. As a way to help me focus my attention, existing clients and those with booked appointments will take priority. It has come to my attention that an individual with whom I previously collaborated with has been attempting to message clients and offer services similar to mine, using techniques and products she learned from me during her applications. This person was involved with Lauryn Ashley Lashes & Aesthetics for a very short period after working together at a previous studio and then moved to another studio. During our collaboration, I sent clients to her for spray tans, and she was supposed to refer clients to me for lash services. Additionally, the agreement was that I would offer lash services at both her new location and my own, as she initially claimed she did not want to offer eyelash extensions herself.

However, although I was sending her clients, she began offering eyelash extension services using the techniques and products I shared with her. She has also been messaging clients and publicly stating that I am no longer offering lashes, which is not accurate, in an attempt to redirect clients to her services.

I want to clarify that this individual is no longer associated with Lauryn Ashley Lashes & Aesthetics in any capacity and has been blocked. Any communications or offers you may receive from her are independent of my business and do not reflect the quality or standards you expect from Lauryn Ashley Lashes & Aesthetics.

I would also like to take a moment to apologize to anyone I referred to this technician who had a negative experience or was no-showed.

Typically I try not to say anything even when my name is being defamed, however this is the last situation to deal with from a toxic environment and hopefully I can move forward from this point without them continuing these unethical practices.

✨ So, as the DIY cluster lashes continue to take off, I would like to point out some very serious information about these clusters. ✨

Because of their popularity a lot of lash artists have contemplated offering clusters as an additional service. I also began contemplating this. Until this client came in.

🚫 I have decided I cannot, absolutely cannot, ethically offer this as a service.

This lovely lady was only wearing cluster lashes for 7 days and take a look at the damage they caused her. Now yes, this is only the top layer of lashes, that's because I wanted you to see up close each lash and what these DIY clusters do to each lash. You can almost see her lashes now growing out together in clump/sections where the Clusters were holding them all together. You can see crinkling and crimping.

You can see the lashes that have been pulled and now grow and incorrect directions. You can see where her lashes are being thinned out and broken. All after just 7 days of cluster lash wear. Because our lashes grow a small rate every day damage absolutely can happen in the short amount of time.

I have seen cluster lash kits for $20-$100+. You may think you are saving money in the end, but truly at what cost?
