Farmer Jay put in work this afternoon 🍏 he picked 26 bushels in less than 3 hours on his own! At 65 years young, he’s still got it! Our first babies of the season, Gingergold apples will be available tomorrow at both and at our farm market from 10-4! A friendly reminder that our pick your own apples opens to the public on September 1! It’s (almost) harvest time!!

We cannot believe that we’re here …. It’s the last weekend of 🍎 harvest! Open tomorrow 9-6, Sunday 9-5 and daily until October 31! We’re sold out of pumpkins, but there are still Empire and Ambrosias on the trees for picking this weekend. And lots of great goodies in the store today for pick up! Our guest speakers at our Lions Club meeting tonight were Jay and Linda Howell from Brantview Apples and Cider and Howell Road Cider Co. Jay and Linda talked about their 8th generation family farm and the way they have grown their business over the years. Jay's grandfather was one of the founding charter members of the St. George Lions Club and the Howell family are huge supporters of our club and all our events. Our club made a donation to Brant Food for Thought on behalf of Jay and Linda. 🦁🍎🍏🦁

Ohhhh hiiii apple picking friends 🍎 🌳 Today is the first day of our harvest season (September 1-October 31). I might be new around here, but I’m starting to learn about all of the exciting things that happen at my house each fall! We are less than two weeks away from the start of PICK YOUR OWN APPLES! We are so excited to see everyone back in the orchard this harvest season!

🍎We will be open every day for PYO beginning on MONDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH🍎

🍏The farm store will be open with apples to purchase everyday beginning on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 1ST🍏

As you plan your trip please remember a few important things:

🥾 The orchard can get muddy, and the ground may be uneven in spots so remember to choose footwear accordingly!
🐶 We are pup friendly but please remember your leash and p**p bags!
🐦The orchard is home to lots of living things, so please be respectful!
🐝 Among those living things are our smaller winged friends, so remember to pack some bug spray!

It’s almost that time 🤩🤩 And this year’s apple crop is shaping up to be one of the very best!
