Two new foster bunnies arriving Thursday nightβ£οΈ
It's been two months since we lost Mobey. Time to welcome another foster baby. Who will fill the next spot in our frame? Stay tuned β£οΈ
Mobey is back home, angel bunny forever.π πͺ½
We are so devastated. Last night Mobey died in our arms. He developed stasis on the weekend and we spent all day yesterday fighting for his life. Unfortunately it was not enough. It is especially shocking since he was so healthy.
Mobey came to us in January of last year and has been with us since then. As time passed we knew it would be hard to see him go if he was adopted. But we now realize he was meant to be with us. He truly became part of our family and we love him so much. β€οΈ He will be dearly missed. ππ
Moby has a new toy. He loves bells and there is one in the head of the octopus π
Bunnies love first cut hay.
So don't worry, Mobey is getting a fresh box today.
No match today. Now he's angry at us for the terribly rude disruption to his daily routine.
Mobey left to meet a new family but no girl bunny. I'm not sure he will like the idea but we're about to find out.
Mobey is just chilling after breakfast. He has a date tonight so he has to rest up.
This is Mobey's morning breakfast routine.
When Mobey is ready for his bedtime treat he will let you know.
Can I have a treat?
Just another chill Sunday evening for Mobey.
Every morning Mobey sits patiently in this spot waiting for his breakfast. He doesn't like the bare floor so this is as far as he goes.
Our tree is taking on a new shape! Moby is pretty pleased with his work ππ°π¦·

It's a lazy Sunday for Mobey.
Rabbits are charming and adorable companions, but they can be a challenge to care for. Gastrointestinal Stasis for example can kill a rabbit in a matter of hours if not treated immediately. Our own rabbits have all gone through it at one time or another.
When a rabbit's behavior changes suddenly and it hides from you that is also a bad sign. Late last night we discovered Mobey was not eating and he was also a bit lethargic. This is not normal for him so we went into 'panic' mode and began to look for stasis symptoms. After a frantic examination and some advice from our bunny expert friend, we were still not sure what was wrong with him. But moments later Mobey was stuffing his face again. So after giving us a massive scare he seems to be back to his normal bunny self!
The moral of this story is, if you are going to adopt a rabbit, educate yourself on rabbit care and health concerns, and pay attention to their behavior. It might be a matter of their life or death.
Medical Concerns | House Rabbit Society Medical Concerns Rabbits are prey animals, and as such, can hide their symptoms when sick. Itβs up to you, then, to watch them carefully, and to note the slight changes in their personality and behavior that might indicate that they are sick. Following are some medical issues that you should take ...
Mobey has been taking his afternoon naps on the shelf under one of our end tables. I guess the cozy bed we provided was too much for him!
No match for Mobey today. Now he's sulking and mad at me for putting him through such an ordeal.
Today might be the day. Mobey has a bunny speed dating appointment today. We hope he meets someone special.
It's a full sploot out tonight.
After a pleather of zooming, I retreat to my favorite space β£οΈ
Just chilling in my tunnel β£οΈ
Lately Mobey has taken to this spot behind the sofa. It's his little hideaway.
Mobey came home. No match this time.
Mobey is at an adoption event today. Maybe he find a family. Meanwhile we have a guest. Meet Jamie.
Mobey loves hanging out in his tunnel! Peek-a-boo bunny! ππ°
