Not a bad sales day! 23 items out, and almost all in ♻️’ed packaging!

Haven’t been posting much on here, but I have so much new inventory that I’m so excited to get listed! I’ve been thrifting a ton the past three weeks

First Quarter Numbers!
Slow start, but finally hit a goal in March. I’m not sure what the turnaround trigger was, but my focus has been on better inventory, relisting, and cross-listing. I also now have offers being sent automatically, which I think has been helpful!
I have done a few live shows but they are a lot of work and I don’t really enjoy them. It is inspiring to see how well the people who are consistent with it are doing with them though, so maybe someday

My first show is this Sunday!
I’m choosing to do it as all Makeup and Skincare because I think that will be great for Christmas Presents and also a bit easier for me as I learn how it all works. It will be at 5:30PST (so 9:30 here in Halifax) and I would love if you tuned it!
I’ll be watching as many of my PFFs as my schedule (and bedtime lol) allows!

Wow! What a summer this has been
I have been so busy with things both good and not so much good
• Got married June 4
• Honeymooned in London, UK
• Lost my grandma on June 27
• My husband and doggo went to Germany for the summer
• Bought a house
• And I am now renovating said house!

I will have a bedroom just for all my reselling stuff and I’m so excited for that! But my numbers this summer have sucked (I’ll share soon) so I really need to put in the work this fall if I want to hit my goal of 30K this year!

Finally some weekend sales worth walking to the post office for!

We had the absolute best time in London on our honeymoon! Despite returning without my husband and with Covid…
June has had some of the best and worst days in it! I’m happy to see it go as it has been my worst month of reselling since last May. This is definitely somewhat correlated to the work I have out in this month though. I was hoping to hit the ground running after this trip but I guess that will take another week now!

I may have missed the Frenchy’s sale this weekend, but I didn’t miss the good stuff they put out after it! First time finding and + I’ll never pass on

I AM GETTING MARRIED IN 2 DAYS!!!
Holy! Moly! I am so excited but the week before the wedding is SO busy! With my fiancés parents arriving, all the last minute pick ups and deliveries, and the prepping of myself it’s been insane. I haven’t taken any time off work because we are honeymooning near the end of the month, but I’ve basically dropped all reselling except the occasional listing and sharing my closet a few times a day.
This summer with both my husband and our dog being in Europe I will be back at it hard though - gotta pay for this wedding somehow hahaha!

Few April stats!
Sales were 70 Posh, 1 FB Marketplace and 1 depop!
Not a bad month but almost $1,000 of it was from the last week so it didn’t feel like I was going to make my goal for most of the month.

Big energy at Value Village today!
Bought lots of goodies today, but these stand out!!

Had a great sales day! This is even missing one because I can’t find something!! Ugh, I hate when that happens and I need to tear through everything 🥲

I had an appt after work yesterday next to the thrift store and I had 20 minutes…
When the haul is good this quick I can’t help but wonder what I left behind 🤔

Now that April is almost over I’m finally getting around to sharing March numbers!
It *feels* like sales have been slow, but I’m still hitting my monthly goals so I have no business complaining!
I track quite a bit more metrics than just these 4 things but I doubt the the other stuff is of much interest to anyone, so I keep it to just this!
How do you track your businesses sales? I’m a spreadsheet person!

Unfortunately on Poshmark it’s been a month of Mondays
I did manage to meet my March sales goal (post coming soon for March numbers) but I’m gonna need sales all day everyday to hit April’s 😒
Been crosslisting, but new platforms take awhile to gain some traction on.
I have been only relisting on Posh because I’m behind on processing anything new! (Psst relisting still helps, I relisted something yesterday and it sold last night!). I’d love it if my relisting service would add Vinted as i just don’t have the desire to do it the hard way!

Picking up a few more one of a kind or vintage pieces lately
I’ve always been a brand forward reseller but wanting to try something new as many things I tend to find are a bit saturated these days
Let us hope these don’t end up turning into 20% off coupons 🥴

Big hauls and what sold posts make Poshmark look kinda easy…

But to get to go shopping yesterday I had to:
- take a vacation day from my full time job
- bring the dog to daycare
- spend 6 hours (3 stores; 1 hour, 3 hours, and two hours)
- buy lunch

And to get all of this ready for sale I need to:
- record all of it in a spreadsheet
- wash/depill anything that needs it
- steam it all
- photograph it all
- store it all
- research the things I’m not familiar with
- upload the photos
- write the listings
- share until it sells!

It isn’t easy, that’s for sure, but I find it rewarding

Reminiscing about when sales were good. I’m working on adding some key words that people might search for to my listings now that Poshmark has made some changes. How have sales been in February since the launch of Posh Ambassador II?

January has been my best reselling month EVER!! I smashed my goal of $2,300 and had almost $3,700 in sales with 87 items off to new homes on Poshmark.

I credit this success to sourcing a bit better, being very active in relisting stale inventory, and being able to have a few days of $6.99 Closet Clear Out shipping days!

But of course, the success actually comes from anyone who has purchased something from me, and for that I am so so grateful! 🥰🥰

Although I didn’t start selling until much later, today marks 2 years on Poshmark! 🤩🥳
