Here’s to amazing 2019 Blue Collar Barbershop!

2018 has been one hell of a year, full of some of the biggest life changes I could have ever imagined. Other than the shop opening, it saw and his fiancée Lauren welcome their wonderful little baby heather into this world. It also allowed us to bring to the team, helping us get closer to a full house and making the shop feel like more of a family. There was lots of other good things, as well as a handful of bad things, but all in all I would say 2018 was the biggest and best year I’ve experienced of the 27 years I’ve had so far. I honestly cannot wait to see what 2019 will bring us here at Blue Collar Barbershop

We will continue serving you from our current location at the Seaport Market until December 23rd and then we will be closed for a few weeks until we reopen at 2300 Gottingen Street in mid-January. The Halifax Regional Municipality will be carrying out construction work on your street. Notice will be provided prior to any parking restrictions. We thank you for your patience and cooperation in assisting Halifax Regional Municipality to improve the level of service in your area.

Anticipated Stat Date: October 9, 2018 Anticipated Completion Date: December 5, 2018

Gottingen Street between the limits of North Street and Cogswell Street

The construction work generally consists of removal of pavement markings, placement of new pavement markings, curb extensions (bump outs), complete with new unit pavers, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt reinstatement and catch basin relocation, installation of pedestrian push button, streetscaping, landscaping including installation of trees and soil trench/urban tree support, and all other associated reinstatement.

Note: There will be various types of construction taking place in the limits of work listed on this notice. If someone at your address has difficulty crossing uneven ground, gravel or steps, please let up know in advance so we can work with you for alternate access where possible during this project.
