OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR & CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide an exceptional customer experience ensuring VERY satisfied customers.
Answer inbound customer calls, email, direct messages, online leads and other customer enquiries.
Accurately gather and enter customer information and data into PERMA-DRY Customer Management System.
Liaise between customers and our waterproofing consultants and technicians.
Schedule customer in-home consultations and repairs.
Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy.
Manage all administrative duites.
Accounting clerk duties (entering invoices, expenses, etc.)
Strong administrative skills.
Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person
Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills.
Tracking of customer appointments to ensure the on-time arrival of consultants and crews, via email, phone and internet.
Timely follow-up of appointments.
Data entry and file maintenance (new item set-ups, PO tracking comments, and more as needed).
Provide additional administrative support as requested.
Reviewing/answering email
Administration of the company safety and maintenance programs.
Special Projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
Proficient with computers and telephone systems
Proficient in MS Office suite, GSuite, Email, Internet
The ability to manage multiple staff and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving, and the ability to work with confidential documents.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure.

PERMA-DRY® is looking for labourers to join our growing team based out of our Porters Lake (Halifax), NS office. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of manual labour tasks as part of the construction team.

We offer competitive wages based on skill and experience starting at:

Inexperienced, unskilled labour starting at: $16.00/hr + 4% Vacation Pay + 2.4% Holiday Pay
Moderate skill and experience starting at: $18.00/hr + 4% Vacation Pay + 2.4% Holiday Pay
Skilled and experienced labour $20.00/hr + 4% Vacation Pay + 2.4% Holiday Pay

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Foreman, the Labourer is responsible for performing a variety of heavy manual labour duties to assist the construction team on the worksite.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load, unload and move construction materials around the worksite
- Digging, spreading, and levelling of dirt and gravel
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour
- Ability to lift 30kg (66lbs) on a regular basis
- Be aware of surroundings at all times
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
- Ensure safety of fellow employees
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
- Ability to follow a firm work schedule as directed by supervisor
- Valid Class 5 drivers licence
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Previous experience as a labourer or construction labour considered and asset
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in all weather conditions for long periods of time
- Ability to efficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that all tasks are being completed safely and in a timely manner
- Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks requiring the use of independent judgment and action
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Working safely

Working Conditions:
The Construction Labourer has a physically strenuous and demanding job. The Labourer will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects, requiring the use of PPE, Hardhat, Steel Toe Boots, and reflective vest to minimize risk on the worksite. The worksite environment for this position is outside in varying weather conditions.
