Today we are sharing one of the most popular Lebanese Manoosh, Lahamajeen (translated into meat on bread) or many know it as "Meat Pie."

Fresh in-house minced ground beef with tomato, onion and spices, cooked on a thin flatbread and toasted. Top this up with tomatoes and olives, alone with Labneh (strained yogurt) or simply savor its flavors with freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mouth Watering!

Today’s product is our Cheese Manoosh, a blend of Saputo mozzarella and premium Akkawi cheese that’s sure to delight! Akkawi is a soft unripened brine cheese made from cows milk. It has a smooth consistency and a very mild, slightly salty flavour. SO tasty!

Today’s look into our new Manoosh products is Za'atar - a staple in Lebanese culture, Za’atar is a zesty blend of thyme and roasted sesame seeds. A za'atar manoosh is vegan friendly, healthy, and rich in magnesium, iron, calcium and zinc. Great on it’s own, but it’s commonly topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, mint and olives. An excellent choice for breakfast, lunch or even as a snack!

Starting on Wednesday, September 2nd, we will be adding fresh Mediterranean flatbreads and wraps to our menu!

Staying the blazes home gave us a moment to reminise about old memories from a much simpler time in Southern Lebanon. These memories have made us grateful for what we have today.

Through unreliable electricity and scarce water supply, our grandmother would wake up before dawn each morning, gathering firewood in order to prepare our breakfast.

Breakfast would consist of hand made dough, topped with a delicious mixture of herbs from our garden, roasted seseme seeds and vegetable oil. We would also top the dough with ground beef and herbs and fresh cheeses.

"Manoosh, yalla taza!!" Our grandmother would yell - this translates to "Flatbreads! Hurry it's fresh!" And we would gather to eat.

We were able to clean up and go through boxes full of treasure. To our surprise, we stumbled across our Grandmothers recipe book. Now, we want to bring these tastes to our community.

We are honored and excited to share these nostalgic, delicious meals with you!

Our flatbreads are made fresh in-house from our grandmother’s recipe, we guarantee you’ll be addicted! You haven’t had wraps like this before!
