For those picking up kids at Brigadoon today.

With families traveling to Brigadoon Village this morning to pick up their campers, there have been questions about road conditions and how accessible camp is. An e-mail has been sent to families with information as well.

From reports we've received, the 101 and North River Road are clear. The only closure that may affect travel is Highway 12 being closed between English Mountain Road and New Ross due to a washout around Murphy Lake.

Please check the 511 Nova Scotia website before you leave. https://511.novascotia.ca/

Remember that emergency crews are out working hard to deal with any road damage and issues, so please drive with caution.

Camp Braveheart runs from July 7th - July 12th and focuses on our extraordinary campers living with heart conditions.

The Sleep for Health in Hospital and at Home 2 (Shhh2) research study wants to hear from parents/caregivers who have stayed overnight on the Pediatric Medical Unit at IWK Health Centre.

We want to hear from you about how we can help families sleep well in hospital and at home.

Saturday, May 11th, Brigadoon is excited to offer NEW camper families Family Tours of our Village!! 🏕️

Register today to tour our grounds free of charge and get excited for camp!! This tour will give new campers and their families an opportunity to see the Village before arriving this summer. Our goal is to help every new camper become more comfortable when it comes time to arrive at camp!

Tour times will be grouped by camp session to offer you and your camper(s) the opportunity to make connections with others who will be attending their camp. 💙✨

Starting Monday, August 14, 2023, the University Avenue entrance of the IWK Children’s Building will be closed indefinitely, as part of construction efforts for the new Emergency Department.
