1.5 hour konpa workshop this Saturday before the social! And a Kiz/Konpa mixed Social upstairs! Don't miss a fun night this Saturday! Konpa hails from Haiti, it's been one of the musical influences that created the Kizomba music. The dance has had a big revival in the last few years and is now danced as part of every kiz social. It's easy to get started, especially if you know merengue and a bit of kizomba. As Haiti is next to the Dominican Republic, the dance is a bix of Merengue like moves, but more bouncy and Gouyad, which is based in hip isolations! Come out for a fun workshop!
