Like all things - proactive action is best and setting a clear baseline for your hearing early in life allows us to track your progress and intervene early.

We’re often asked how friends and family can support a loved one with hearing loss.
Here’s our advice:

- Slow down. Yup, it’s not speaking up, it’s slowing down. Hearing loss is as much about the speed of information traveling from the ears to the brain as it is about volume. Slow down so the listener can more easily process your voice and words.

- Encourage them to act early. Addressing hearing loss early can slow down the process of hearing loss by maintaining the brain's connection to your ears.

- Remind them that these days everyone has something in their ears. No one cares
anymore, it’s normal and with the power of hearing technology today - it’s sort of cool too.

Friends don’t let friends lose their hearing without taking action - be a friend today.

Charge your hearing aids! 🦻🏼 Give them a good boost, just in case the power goes out.

• ❗️ If the power goes out, we recommend unplugging your chargers. When the power is restored, if there is a power surge, it could damage your charger. ❗️

• If you have a desktop charger (one on the right) and the power goes out with the hearing aids in the ports, the hearing aids will automatically turn off. To turn them back on, press and hold the bottom toggle button for a few seconds and the start up jingle will start.

• If you have a smart charger (one on the left), it will use the banked charges to charge your hearing aids. It is recommended to unplug this charger as well, and use the banked charges until the power is restored.
