Applications for this yearβs Play to Lead program are now open for athletes & coaches!
Play to Lead is a leadership program that brings female athletes and coaches together for developmental training to unleash womenβs power through sport. The hybrid program begins with in-person summits in Halifax, Thunder Bay and Montreal, offering expert workshops with the objective to foster a powerful network of girls in sports.
Post-summit, the program moves online, providing sessions that support ongoing learning for participants alongside the mentorship of their coaches.

2024 Spring NS AA Champs - one of the most fun competitions in our annual calendar. The Spirit award keeps all the swimmers on all the teams on their toes supporting their team mates. Crusaders swimmers were able to bring a little bit extra to their cheering and won the 2024 Spring Spirit award. Way to go Crusaders!

Nova Scotiaβs top swimmers made a splash at the 2024 Canadian Olympic & Paralympic Swimming Trials in Toronto, showcasing incredible talent and determination in the pool.
π Ella Collins of Acadia University broke records with a stellar performance in the Senior Womenβs 100m Breaststroke, setting a new Nova Scotia Provincial Record with a time of 1:11.22.
π₯ The trials featured 857 athletes from 151 clubs nationwide, all competing for coveted spots to represent Canada at the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, as well as other prestigious international events.

We had 26 of Nova Scotiaβs finest swimmers team up with 12 dedicated coaches, guided by our Technical Director, Lance Cansdale, and two-time Olympian, Savannah King from Head to Head. Together, we dove into a pool session and tackled a classroom session focused on managing nerves, and performance & pressure. π‘
