Autumn in the Annapolis Valley is absolutely magical. 🍁
This editorial cliffside had everything a fall loving girly could want. Cozy sweaters, stunning views of Cape Blomidon, a sweet pup and beautiful flowers in all the shades of fall.

A little back story: I was responsible for providing the table for this editorial, it actually belonged to my late step-grandfather and was sitting in my parents basement. and I picked it up on the way to Blomidon where we borrowed my Dad’s truck. It of course is a manual, and while I can drive stick, it had been a long time. As we were about to drive off my Dad mentioned “The emergency brake doesn’t work that well when you’re parked”. So we started off only stalling a few times, it was a rough ride. The field we arrived in was literally a cliff that dropped down to the beach. I made sure to park in first gear as far as possible from the edge. AND that table now sits in my studio and I use it daily as a work table. Shaeline, I don’t know how I didn’t scare you off that day 😅.

It’s fall ya’ll and I’m not mad about it.

We spent the first day of fall celebrating my daughters first birthday?! 🤯. I have no idea where the past year went. I was too busy rocking, cuddling, singing and loving on our sweet girl. Not going to lie, it’s been tricky juggling raising a baby while still working, squeezing in time in my studio to answer emails (often late) and make stationery has been challenging. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. She brings so much joy into our lives and along with getting to know her I’ve gotten to watch my husband become a father.

ANYWAY! Enjoy all the pumpkin spice! 🤣

Using textured paper like this velvet brings such dimension to an invite. Even if you use it just as a pop in an envelope liner or a band around your suite. Your invites can be felt and not just seen.

Custom vow books are such a lovely keepsake and much prettier to read from than a crumpled piece of loose leaf. Even if you’re not reciting personal vows they’re great to write a note to each other to exchange before the ceremony.

It’s a gorgeous day here! We’re spending our Sunday celebrating my husband for his first Father’s Day. I think a stroll in the sunshine is on the schedule.
