Happy caturday folks, hope you had a good holiday week and arent getting too wet this weekend. Have you run out of things to do with the kids yet, now that school has been out for a week? You can always wake them up and bring them to the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market and let them run around like lunatics while you shop. Maria should be there and could keep them entertained with music. Maybe it will give them inspiration to start a garden or some other hobby and keep them busy for the next two months. If not, well, Im sure you'll think of something and maybe we'll see you anyway.

Good day folks, hope everyone is having a good start to the Canada day weekend and you get some time off to enjoy the nice weather before it becomes Nova Scotia again. Take some time and smell the roses. If you dont have any, maybe drop by the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market and see if anyone is selling some. The summer season vendors are picking up and we never know what new things will be there. Have a visit before you have to go to grandmas and listen to her complain about the fireworks even though she turns her hearing aid off and never hears them.

One week til summer, how long til summer vacation? Feel free to take a mini vacation and come visit us at the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market today from 8-1, we cant promise any kayaking adventures but Im sure you'll find something to make it worth your while, even if its a little time away from the kids before they are underfoot for two months, complaining about not having anything to do. Then you wonder why you didnt book them for summer camp, where are all the bowls, where are these ants coming from, how long til school starts again?

Good day folks, its bat time again, off to the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market for some fun and adventure... well maybe not but we'll be there as usual, ready to assist you in all your shopping adventures. Its moving on towards summer and fresh local produce and new vendors seem to come out of the woodwork each week. Come on down and see whats new, who knows what you'll find. In the meantime, dont forget fathers day is coming up, he really doesnt want a tie.

Spring has sprung, the grass is riz, the gardens are growing and the neighbour cats are digging up the garden.. Its the right time before the summer heat hits, still nice and cool in the morning to get out for a walk, so you might as well head down to the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market and make the best of it. As usual we are there from 8-1 ready for all your sharpening needs or whatever else you may require. Lots of food and gifts and new vendors all the time.

Good morning folks, looks like summer is visiting us for a (achoo) couple of days, hopefully giving us (achoo) a glimpse of what we have (achoo) in store for the coming months. (achoo) For those of you (us) with pollen allergies.. good luck, fair winds and following sneeze..
Anyway, with the new seasons, we are expecting new produce and new vendors at the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market, so I believe you should come visit (achoo) sometime today, preferably before we close at 1. Its such a lovely day out there, you should get out of the house before the weather changes..

Happy saturday folks, how is your long weekend starting out? (if you have one that is) What are your plans? Im guessing the first is to stop by the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market to pick up supplies and visit, am I right? Or am I right? Its not bad out there now but there are rumours that it might not be so good tomorrow, so you might want to get out and do stuff today so you can relax on monday. If you have it off that is.. Here we are folks, saturday again, 9 years on at the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market and still going strong. Anyone stay up late last night to catch the Aurora Borealis? Well then, you'll be wanting to stop by and grab a coffee and tell everyone all about it. We have some new vendors this week (yes I say that every other week) and Beck Farms is back so you should come visit and have a lovely chat.. with someone.. Either way, time is precious so you should make the most of it.

4 hours of forging yesterday.. not terrible but I'll have to go back in for touch ups before I start grinding.

Happy saturns day folks, how is everyone? The sun is really trying to peak out and trick you into planting your seedlings prior to last frost.. did you do it yet? I know you're thinking about it"Aw, it looks fine, it wont hurt to be a week early".. uh huh..
Anyway, for those who dont challenge nature and want to get some greens (or other colours) the Halifax Forum Farmers' Market is today as usual and we will be there, also as usual, ready to sharpen whatever dull implement you feel needs to be sharpened. If you happen to know a crafty person who could stand to clean out their craft room in order to keep making stuff, send them by as well, we can always use new people.
