Have you heard the sad news? Charlene, our Customer Experience Representative, is leaving us. How dare she! ;)

Charlene joined the Bookstore in August 2020. During an extraordinary time, Charlene came on board to lend support as part of a resource allocation; while many departments operated at a slower pace, the Bookstore was a hub of activity, accepting shipments and filling online orders for Books in Residence. Charlene joined our team and helped in a variety of ways, before moving on to provide next-level customer experience. She became fast friends with her co-workers, and when we could finally open our doors to the public, she also got to know and befriend many customers!

Charlene has been an invaluable asset for multiple reasons. Besides her boundless enthusiasm, she is a spirited champion of new products and a passionate supporter of local brands. Given her 25+ years at Dalhousie, Charlene has a deep understanding of the community and has been committed to our collective goal of driving student success at the Bookstore.

Charlene brings optimism and excitement to everything she does and is a beacon of support and encouragement for all.
