A great day spent at the Women in Mortgage Summit. Great panel of women who thrives to make the difference in this industry. Lot's of learning, great conversations, connecting with familiar faces, and made some new connections. Thanks for having me here.

And as you all heard by now, the Bank of Canada cut the overnight rate by 0.25%. It's the first cut since March 2020. I know it's a small cut, but one step into a direction we wanted to see. Both from economic and real estate point of view.

Hope you are all enjoying some good family time. Doesn't have be fancy. Just wholesome connection playing board games, going on snowy hikes and watching Super Mario movie, all snuggled up on our couch. That was our family this weekend.

As expected, the Bank of Canada has left its key lending rate unchanged at 5.00%, 4th time in a row. This follows 10 previous rate increases over 12 rate announcements, which raised the overnight target rate by 475 bps since March 2022.

Mark your calendar on when the next update from the Bank of Canada is for 2024.

Even though our economy isn't growing fast, the Bank is still watching out for inflation.
