Most memorable coaching experience:
I could share all of the down by 2, 10 seconds left comeback stories... but my best memories will always be watching my players develop as not only athletes but as individuals within their team and beyond. Basketball seasons are long, which gives my teams lots of time to build lasting friendships and develop new skills together on and off the court. I will never get tired of running into an old player and their families years after a season and listening to what they have been up to and how basketball as well as their team has positively shaped their future. It’s why we do what we do!

The City of Hamilton has been a member of the International Children’s Games since 1992 when the team participated in the Games in Geneva, Switzerland. Hamilton hosted the Games in 1994 and 2000, which represented the first time the Games were held outside of Europe.
The Games bring together Mayors, City Officials, as well as coaches and players to join together to enable, develop, and promote interactions that transcend borders, cultures, and beliefs. All member cities share in the belief that sports have the extraordinary ability to bridge gaps and create lasting bonds between young athletes, helping them become global citizens who embrace diversity and unity alike.
Thank you to the City of Hamilton for their unwavering support of the efforts to share the Games movement with our local sports community and fostering the development of friends and connections worldwide.
