I was on the road last week and visited almost all of our Quebec locations. One of the coolest finds was this 1994 Plymouth C**t AWD van at Kenny U-Pull Saguenay! ❤️😍

This is a definite automotive oddball, with a tall roofline, single sliding rear door, and fulltime AWD drivetrain. There were never many of these on the roads (or the identical Mitsubishi version), but I sure like seeing this sort of rare vehicle that was ahead of it's time! 🤖

Back in then 80's and 90's a few other manufacturers had mini-minvans like this, including the Nissan Multi & Access and the Mazda MPV. Who else liked this size and configuration of vehicle, long before AWD was available on alot of options and crossovers and small SUVs existed? 🧐🤔

Here are a couple interesting finds at our Kenny U-Pull Montreal location this morning:

-TWO Mercury's, a 1999 Cougar coupe and a 1995 Villager minivan
-a 1998 Plymouth Voyager 'Espresso' minivan
-a 1995 Hyundai Sonata with the Mitsubishi-sourced DOHC V6

The Sonata with it's low-mileage (only 65,000 kms!) is especially interesting, as those DOHC engines were popular in alot of sporty models. 💪

One idea I had was to grab the 'Cool Box' out of this 1992 Toyota Previa at Kenny U-Pull Moncton. It is plumbed right into the AC system and keeps drinks and snacks cool! Has anyone ever seen this cool feature in a Previa or other vehicle? What other ideas do you have to make your summer travels more fun and entertaining? 😎🏖🌄

We're having a fantastic weekend at the Atlantic Nationals Car Extravaganza in Moncton, New Brunswick. If you're here, come by and visit our Kenny U-Pull display to check out our 1984 Mazda RX-7. There is lots of interest in this car, so we're sure someone is going to pick it up, toss an engine and there, and get it back on the road! 🧰💪

With so many vehicles here, it's hard share them all, but here are some of the interesting modles that caught my eye. See anything you like? 📸😍

Todays fun finds are this pair of 90's Toyota Camrys, a 1994 wagon and a 1995 sedan, at Kenny U-Pull Laval. The wagon is especially interesting as you realise just how much room there was behind the seat! 😮😍

Both of these would have made great family haulers back in the day, before minivans and SUVs replaced them as the go-to for family transportation. 🚗👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🎒🧳🐕🐈

Does anyone else miss the number of midsize sedans and wagon choices we used to have? Who would be happy to have a wagon like this Camry as their daily-driver? Do you ever see this generation of Camry on the roads these days, or have they all disappeared? 🔍

During a recent visit to Kenny U-Pull Rouyn-Noranda, I noticed two Ford Escapes sitting beside each other, one a first-generation 2005 model, and the other a restyled 2009 model. I think the Escape is a great example of taking a popular vehicle and making small improvements for the next generation, without going overboard or totally changing the formula. 👍✍️

Do any of you have other examples of vehicles that were carefully improved from one model to the next? What about examples of where a vehicle was ruined after a remodel? 🥹🥺

While in Rouyn-Noranda I also grabbed pictures of a bunch of other vehicles we don't see every day, including a 1986 Audi 5000, a 1985 Jaguar XJ, a 1995 Oldsmobile Ciera, a 1986 Chevrolet pickup, a 1994 Jeep Cherokee, and a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville. Enjoy! 📸🚗

Last week I noticed this white Chevrolet Optra5 in the yard at Kenny U-Pull LaPrairie... and then I remembered that I used to own an identical one! I have owned so many cars over the years that I can hardly remember them all. 🚗🚙🛻

It seems surprising to not remember owning a car, but this Daewoo-based hatchback wasn't all that exciting, so it seems it slipped from my mind. Mine was a 5-speed manual model, which made it a bit more interesting than this automatic version, but I don't recall it having many particularly redeeming qualities. 🧐

Does anyone else think they may have forgotten cars in their past because they were too boring ?! 😴

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Easter Treasure hunt this weekend. This gentleman was our grand prize winner of the cooler chair. I think you will be getting some good use out of it as the weather gets warmer 🐰🥚
