The Coyote platform has proven to be very reliable, even when making upwards of 2000HP but there's one particular part we had to keep an eye on every outing.

Where factory guides would literally last 10 runs we now have an alternative that will last a full season without causing any wear to the chains. We tested a variation of plastics and geometries and finally found a combination that is heat resistant, wear resistant, low friction and methanol/ethanol safe.

These guides should be considered for any build involving locked out cams.

Well where do I start, so much to share with you all! This past weekend the Steeda.ca team went to for the last true street event of the season and it was everything we could hope for.



We had to do a gear swap and some other small maintenance to the car just before we hit the track but it was all worth it. Our first pass off the trailer and we went a new personal BEST! Followed by five rounds of wins to end the night as champs!



Brunet always has this track on kill. Can't thank the guys at enough for all their help and generosity allowing us to use their facility. Brunet and Leblanc for the tuning and dialing in the suspension. These guys have the coyote platform down pat. Also want to thank .industries Josh and Kyle for building me a killer chassis that works amazing and makes my job driving easy! Rudy from Rudy’s Performance for the transmission And for the gear set loan.



A massive thanks to my brother Gaspar for all his help and support towing me back and forth and maintaining the car in-between rounds. And finally, to my wife for letting me do what I love.



This has been a labour of love for the last year as we built one of the baddest true street car’s in town – lots of trial and error, lots of learning and lots of hard work. Wouldn’t do it any other way.
