🍙Tivon 🎧🌊
Tivon James is a dedicated and passionate dance instructor with over 15 years of experience in teaching and performing internationally. Tivon has performed with Fever After Dark, Toronto’s Choreographers Ball, Pulse, Hip Hop International and many more. Tivon believes in a holistic approach to dance education. With a patient and encouraging teaching style, he strives to create a safe, supportive and inspiring learning environment.
Fun facts about Tivon: “I love Anime, my favourite show is the Office and I enjoy being by the water!” ☀️

🩰Regan📚☕️
Regan began dancing at the age of 3 and has trained and competed in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and modern dance. Regan attended York University and graduated with a BFA Honours in Dance, specializing in Choreography and Performance. Since graduating Regan has become a certified instructor in Tap and Jazz through ADAPT as well as completing her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies through the Royal Academy of Dance. Regan is also a certified Pilates, Barre, Yoga and PBT instructor and brings her knowledge of healthy and safe movement to all of her classes!
Fun Facts about Regan: “I read an average of 120 books a year, I am a mermaid and love to swim no matter the weather and I can touch my elbows together behind my back” 🧜🏼‍♀️

🎭Tyler🕺🏻🥳
Tyler started dance at the young age of 3 but knew he was hooked the first time he watched his older sisters on stage. Since then, dance has always been the guiding force in his life! Tyler has trained in tap, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and musical theatre. He has found his greatest passion in Tap dance. His understanding is rooted deeply in historical and practical knowledge of the dance, passed on to him by some of the greatest tap dancers today. Tyler embraces a fun, upbeat classroom environment rooted in a deep respect for the dance and the history it represents!
Fun facts about Tyler: “I was put into dance classes with my 3 older sisters at 2 yo, my favourite part of dancing are jumps and highest number of pirouettes I’ve done is 7!”🤯

Wrapping up our season with 🪄🪄🪄 thank you so much for having us! We had a blast in Niagara Falls on and off the stage 🥳🥳 We wish we could fit more than 10 photos into a post 😅😅

Here are the highlights:

Our Mini team wrapped up their comp season with their Tap group Zip a Dee Doo Dah scoring a High Gold!! Our soloist Rachel also scored High Gold 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 It has been so great to see our novice team work so hard and improve each time they hit the stage 🥰🥰 Congrats dancers!

Our Petite team scored High Gold for their Hip Hop Country Livin’!! Britta placed 3rd winning a High Gold score for her Jazz solo Groove Thing, Jana placed 1st, scored an Ultimate inspiration and a special award “All the right moves” for her solo Call Me, Beep Me and Kaitlyn placed 2nd, scoring a platinum mark and a half scholarship to Cani Dance Convention for her Musical theatre solo I Will Survive! Our Petite team has been with us from our very first year and it has been a pleasure watching them grow together as dancers, friends and teammates! 🥲🥲🥲 Awesome work dancers! 💖💖💖

Our Jr/Int team Hip Hop group Let’s Ride that Thurr and Taylor and Laurie’s Acro duet scored a Platinum mark!! Great work! Evelyn’s self choreographed contemporary solo Again… scored an Ultimate Inspiration and a special award “You Otta be in Pictures” and her Lyrical solo Let it All Go scored an Ultimate Inspiration and special award “Expressive Energy” 🪄🪄 Eli’s Jazz Solo Let Me Think About It placed 2nd with and Platinum mark and her Hip Hop solo Baby I’m Back placed 1st with an Ultimate Inspiration!! Lastly Eli and Evelyn’s lyrical duet What A Fool placed 1st with a Platinum mark 🥳🥳🥳 These dancers really came together this year and brought the energy to the stage! We are so proud of all their hard work 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Big thank you to all the parents and guardians that woke up early to do hair and make up, for the time driving to lessons and comps, being the loudest cheering section and for ALL that you do!! We truly appreciate you so much 🙌🏼

The Petite team won Diamond marks and soloist Kaitlyn won 4th overall for her musical theatre solo. Bravo! 🥳🐼

Our Jr/Int team received Diamond marks and our soloist Elinor received a special award for her Hip Hop solo “Living your best life” and a Spotlight award for her Jazz solo! 😍 AND our graduating student Evelyn scored a Platinum mark and placed 3rd for her self choreographed solo “Again” 😭💖!! Well done dancers!!

It has been such a pleasure watching our team grow, dance, bond on and off the stage 🥹💖

Our Petite team pumped the crowd up winning Platinum marks for all 4 dances and our Soloist Jana won a Diamond score and the Judges choice “Star Bright” award! Awesome work dancers!! 🕺🏻🌟🎉

Our Jr/Int team put their heart and soul on the stage winning Platinum marks for their groups! Our Soloist Evelyn received a special award “Feeling it with you” for her self choreographed solo “Again” and a Diamond score 🤩🤩. Taylor and Laurie’s duet “Sweet Disposition” won 3rd overall in their category 🌈🌈 wonderful work dancers!!

Lastly as a studio we received the “Studio Spirit” award 🥹💖

Thanks to all our parents for those early mornings doing hair and makeup for our team and staying positive throughout the competition! We couldn’t have done it without you!!
