One of the reasons for price increases is things like this! As someone who offers a product using high quality ingredients, when manufacturers and retailers need to increase the price, so do we to help cover the cost.

Callebaut / Mona Lisa / Cacao Barry PRICE INCREASE (again!)

Over the last 17 years of working with Callebaut, typically there have been only two price increases annually. However, due to the current historic high pricing of cocoa, Callebaut has informed us there will be an additional substantial increase across all their products. The raw material costs for each type of chocolate will impact a little differently due to the amount of cocoa butter used within each recipe type. Please note this is a worldwide issue, so all chocolate manufacturers will be dealing with the same volatile chocolate market.

20% Dark Chocolate
25% Milk Chocolate
30% White Chocolate
This price increase is quite significant so as a chocolate lover of Vanilla Food Company, we wanted to provide you the opportunity to stock up on chocolate before the price increase that will take effect in August 2024.

We understand that ordering chocolate in the warmer temperatures is not ideal but saving 20-30% might outweigh the temperature risk - since even if the chocolate melts a little, it will not affect the taste or tempering in the overall product. That is why we are providing you ample notice so you can ship earlier rather than even warmer temperatures.
