Sea shells by the Sea Shore?

Guests to Canada taking their new paintings to Guatemala, and the owner of the Guischagan Restaurant gets one of the paintings of the gardens.

Tomorrow at the Guischagan Gardens I will be painting on site for the Kelowna Garden Clubs annual show. I did a mock up of my tables. I am looking forward to it.

Getting organized for a June art show at Guischagan gardens In June. I need a title for this print. Any suggestions?

Peaceful Times at Guischagan Gardens. This was done in 2009 but needed some TLC, so I was able to finish it yesterday…13 years later.lol. I ordered a print of it which will hopefully arrive for the show in the same Guischagan Gardens on June 25th.

Based on the style of Thomas Kincade the ”painter of light”. Perhaps what a “restored earth” might look like.

A new print just arrived. 16 x 20. This is based on Monet’s - Woman with Parasol, a painting of his wife and son. Just like a spring day in the Okanagan? I have to start gathering some prints together for a show at Guischagan Gardens in June.

All painting has temporarily ceased as seedlings have taken over the studio. Petunias, begonias, geraniums, lantana everywhere!

A sunny okanagan day. I think the bushes in the foreground need some yellow leaves. Time to let it dry and check it out in a few days.

Working on a small 8 x 10 canvas today. The scene is from Bear Creek Lake.

Not finished yet, but it is fun watching it develop.

Started on a new journey. Not sure where I’ll end up, but that is part of the adventure.

Switched over to oils now. Classic puffy clouds are such a part of the Okanagan valleys summer look. Added deeper blues to the sky and some brightness to the clouds and laid in the start of the Okanagan Lake. This is getting more fun by the day.

Guisachan Gardens is one of my favourite gardens in Kelowna. I like to stop in 2 or more times to experience the different seasons in all their wonder. The Master Gardeners and the volunteers that maintain the gardens do a wonderful job and work tirelessly. I am almost finished this piece. After the oils set, I plan on doing the greenhouse roof details and add TONS of lavender colour to the flowers. This is the fun part of painting, right at the end.

A new home for the “Song of Songs” print. It’s little and just fits the spot.

Finished and framed. I showed my Mom and she said she liked this piece and would like a print of it, but could I paint out the apple. Lol. Of course, for your Mom, the answer is always YES!
