Reluctant Prophet
Very few people are chosen to receive a vision of what is to come by instant illumination, yet this
Deep breath, in through the nose, out through the mouth.
“The Peace of God fills me and shines forth of me in all moments. I am radiant with love.”
Say it upon awakening each morning, and observe how many opportunities for small kindness are given you each day.
We all make mistakes, but the beauty of our human imperfection is spiritual resilience...to keep seeking to improve in our ways in life.
To show others that they matter, that we care.
Giving is receiving, dear one, even if the other cannot see. It is a gift to have love in the heart and soul.
Love and Light to you,
Aldys 🕊

When I heard the learn’d astronomer,
When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me,
When I was shown the charts and diagrams, to add, divide, and measure them,
When I sitting heard the astronomer where he lectured with much applause in the lecture-room,
How soon unaccountable I became tired and sick,
Till rising and gliding out I wander’d off by myself,
In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,
Look’d up in perfect silence at the stars.✨
~When I Heard The Learn’d Astronomer by Walt Whitman
How do I forget the sun, that warms me with its light?
How do I forget the moon, that causes me to yearn...drawn by its force?
How do I look away from the stars, that call my soul home?
No, I cannot forget what makes me feel alive.
It is to exist, with no passion to express...to stay the hand of the artist, who longs to create.
It takes courage to truly love, to open the heart and feel.
An open heart is one of a warrior, who knows not what lies ahead, but casts fear aside to move forward.
Do not be afraid to love, to feel...to laugh, to cry.
It brings great beauty to this life, and to the world, beloved soul.

The Spirit of Loving is one of my popular books which I go to for posts to my FB page. Another great book I have on hand and will go to for more inspirational quotes is “Born for Love, reflections on Loving” by the late Leo Buscaglia, who also wrote “Love and living, Loving, and Learning” and 13 other books, most of which deal with the experience of love.
I bring this to you as the other night at the dinner table in our Retirement Residence the topic arose as to “you cannot love everybody” to which Annette and I disagreed; which brought to mind Leo’s “If you don’t love everybody, you don’t really love anybody”, page 217 and to quote “I am convinced that when we truly understand the truth of loving and accept universal vulnerability of humankind, we can develop empathy for even the unlovable”.
I highly recommend “Born for Love”, it is an easy read as each page is short and to the point; at the bottom of each page is a quote from other notable authors, on this page, from Leo Tolstoy
“We do not love people so much for the good they have done us, as for the good we have done them”.
May our love be upon you.
The only thing that matters at the end of our stay on Earth, is how well did we love, what was the quality of our love.

THE SIGHT OF ANYTHING extremely beautiful, in nature or in art, brings back the memory of what one loves, with the speed of lightning. That is, . . All that is beautiful and sublime in the world takes part in the beauty of what
one loves, and this unexpected glimpse of happiness immediately fills the eyes with tears. This is how love of the beautiful and love give each other life.

STENDAL STENDHAL, pseudonym of Henri Marie Beyle (1783‐1842) was a French novelist, journalist, and diplomat who also wrote books on art and music.
Love is a force that connects us to every strand of the universe, an unconditional state that characterizes human nature, a form of knowledge that is always there for us if only we can open ourselves to it. A relationship is conditional upon an object. It is a form of skillful means through which we can cultivate patience, generosity, discipline, integrity, and many other virtues in our daily lives. : From the Spirit of Loving, Emily Hilburn Sell
MY HEART WILL ALWAYS fly to you like a bird, from any place on earth, and it will surely find you . . . That you had become so much a part of the Heaven that stretches above me that I had only to raise up my eyes to be by your side. And even if they flung me into a dungeon, that piece of Heaven would still spread out within me and my heart would fly up to it like a bird, and that is everything is so simple, so terribly simple and beautiful and full of meaning.

LOVE IS A VERY IMPORTANT matter in life. Nobody can ignore it.
In general . . . Love can be classified into two different categories: broad love and narrow love. Broad love is humanistic, and all the ancient sages were recognized for their broad love. Confucius (551‐479 BCE) and Mencius (372‐298 BC) exalted humanistic love. Mo Tzu (501‐416 BC) exalted universal love and made himself as a model to realize it. He led a life of absolute self‐abnegation. He exerted himself to the fullest extent of his life by working for the peace of humanity. Lao Tzu valued natural impartial love as the highest level. Sakyamuni exalted compassion and equal love. In general, humanistic love is developed, peaceful, impersonal and dispassionate love. This is what human nature was born with and what human beings should continue to cultivate. Also, in general, narrow love can only be practiced between two people, like a boy and a girl, a man and a woman, a husband and wife, or among a group of people like a family, a circle of friends, a religious fellowship, a society, a nation or a race.

“Sadly, the virus itself - particularly the variant Omicron - is a type of vaccine. That is, it creates both B cell and T cell immunity. And it’s done a better job of getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines.” - Bill Gates
