Big powder day set for Friday at SilverStar Mountain Resort - Glenmore, get your skis tuned, waxed and ready!

Who’s ready for another deep day on the backside this Friday?! 🤿❄️

Today the winter solstice marks the shortest, and seemingly coldest 🥶 day of the year. For the safety of our guests and staff, we are keeping Putnam Creek CLOSED for tomorrow, Dec. 22.

Luckily the temperature is going to ease up on Friday and we will re-open the backside! 🥳 We’ve had 22cm of snowfall over the past 4 days and there’s more on the way… that fresh champagne powder will certainly be worth the wait 🙌🌨️

OPERATIONS UPDATE: Due to extreme cold temperatures on the mountain, all lift openings will be delayed until further notice.
