Wow where did the season go.
Thank you everyone for supporting our business here in Kelowna west Kelowna, and lake country.
You are great customers. Your on going support of scooters Ice cream is very much appreciated. It was a tough year for many businesses here, and we all felt the pinch. We want to thank all of you be it a business or the people from the local neighborhoods that came out to visit us and support our small business.
We will be back again next year. We hope to have a few new items on the menu. We are going to replace a few items just to change things up a bit.
We have had numerous requests for certain items so it is time to try and meet the most popular ones.
Have a great winter everyone. We will see you in the new year. Summer will be back before you know it, and just incase you aren't sure when summer is, just listen for the sound of one of our trucks in your neighborhood. That will be the sound of summer.

We are also pleased to welcome Matt's Motorschool Inc. to our September 14th event. Matt's Motorschool Inc. will be offering intermediate and advanced riding courses, along with a Skills Challenge on-site Saturday. Okanagan participants are welcome!

Join our group if you love the laugh Ladies That Laugh

End of another year/season for Scooter's Ice cream. A huge thank you to all of you for supporting us again this year. We enjoy your stories and your welcoming comments when you come to the truck. When we end a season we feel a bit of remorse as we leave behind our friends and customers that make this business what it is. The great smiles and conversations, the new people and the loyal customers from years past that come and say hello, and share a story with us.

We have seen how people have come to realize the nostalgia of the truck. It is not about the Ice Cream itself, but about great childhood memories or an event that included an ice cream truck. Sadly but happly I had the pleasure of meeting a great couple this year, where the lady had never been allowed to go to an Ice Cream truck as a child. She was so excited to finally be able to do so this summer. The smile on her face and excitement was so captivating.
So it is not the Ice cream Folks, it is the experience, that people like you get to enjoy in your own special and important way. People from different cultures and countries of origin come and share a piece of their life. It brings memories of home and family, and friends.
The Ice Cream Truck ignites Conversations that are emotional in a good way for many people.
Not every person that comes to our truck buys an Ice Cream, but they still love to interact with us and share something that is so important to them.
That little conversation is something that carries a lot of memories and happiness. For the young and old.
For people who have traveled the world or have moved to Canada from another country, or moved from just a province or city within Canada.
I ask that each and everyone of you that read this to continue to come out for you own special reason, to keep sharing with us your experience that is important to you.
We will miss each one of you, and you memories but we will be back again in 2024.

Here is a bit of information for the ice Cream lover at a beach.
A truck if equipped the way our trucks are, will keep ice Cream treats at a recommended -18C.
This is Important to know, because it is recommended by most manufacturers.
It's also Interesting to know also that a bicycle Ice cream cart on a good day may only be able to get down to about - 4 C. At those temperature the ice cream is soft and will melt rapidly on a warm or hot day. Your choice but a -18 treat can be enjoyed longer with friends and not be running all over your hands.
