We’ve been having fun doing Halloween songs and games with students today!

I love hearing comments from students that are shocked the lesson is over so fast because they had so much fun!

Piano Day is held on the 88th day of the year (March 29th in normal years and March 28th in leap years) in celebration of and reference to the 88 keys on a standard piano. From an idea by the German pianist and composer Nils Frahm in 2015 "because it doesn’t hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most important, the listener", the event has grown in subsequent years with amateur and commercial success.

Join us for the next session of Rainbow Keys on Mondays at 4:30-5:30pm, beginning in April! This class is suitable for children ages 5-7.
Located in Black Mountain.

The Rainbow Keys program is the perfect first introduction to music lessons for your child. This is a no-pressure, no-practice curriculum where we explore music and the piano through colors, stories, improvisation, songs and games.

Rainbow Keys students learn to explore sounds, listen actively and move to music. They also get introduced to the piano keys, develop reading skills and learn about rhythm notation.

Classes meet for 60 minutes each week.
Parents are not required to attend.
