Oh boy it's hot!! We water all of our pumpkins and sweet 🌽 with drip lines (bottom of photo), but when it gets this hot, we have to deploy sprinklers to help the poor plants to cool down. Farming always has its challenges!

After 3 weeks our first planting is looking good! The 2nd field is close behind and the third field is getting planted tomorrow! The blooms should be spectacular this summer.

Who doesn't love sunflowers? For 2024, we are planting more sunflowers than ever!! Today the seeds go in the ground and hopefully we will see blooms mid July! Stay tuned for more details.

My skin looks like this after a long hot summer! These gourds from 2023 are drying out nicely. They should be good to clean and use for some fun projects!

This past week, we lost a close member of our family, Charlie. She always said hi to everyone, whether you were getting a pumpkin, dropping off a parcel or just stopping in for a visit. She was always hanging with her family, watching for coyotes from a hilltop or taking a walk.

We'll miss you Charlie!
