Good morning.
Well...here we go. The building we're leasing was sold. There was some thoughts about moving across the road but that fell through. We were presented a lease by our new landlord. The lease agreement in conjunction with all the redevelopment happening all around us we felt that this location will not serve us long term. We are actively looking for a new location...the odds are not good staying in downtown. We have always felt that we are a downtown kinda shop so we're kinda sad that we may have to go elsewhere. Too many unknowns and what if's going on right now therefore we made the decision to set up elsewhere longer term. In the meantime... we're still here.. we'll keep you posted.

Good morning all. Most of you know that Ed and Lindsay are the owners of the Bakehouse. Lindsay has been a critical care nurse for 20+ years and worked with a wonderful lady named Megan Doyle. Recently Megan passed away from cancer. It was a sad day and she will be remembered for her great sense of humor, sparkly personality and joy and laughter. We made a cookie to raise some money to be donated to the KGH foundation towards her commemorative plaque. Come in and buy Megan's cookie for a minimum $2.50 donation.
