Get ready Kelowna, it's time to shine a spotlight on the very best that our city has to offer by nominating your favourite businesses for a Best of Kelowna 2024, sponsored by Secure-Rite Mobile Storage!

These prestigious awards recognize the top businesses and individuals who are making a difference in our community and celebrate their hard work and dedication with Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. Previous years have seen incredible winners in categories like Best Gelato, Best New Business and Best Cidery take home the coveted Gold award thanks to the votes of their loyal fans and customers.

The nomination period ends on April 15 at 3 pm, so make sure to share your favourite spots and show your appreciation for the businesses that make Kelowna the best place to live.

Once the nominations are in, the voting period opens on May 6 at 10 am and runs until May 17 at 3 pm. During this exciting period, Kelowna residents can cast their votes to decide who takes home the coveted Bronze, Silver and Gold medals in each category.

We're also offering free social media assets to help you get the word out and encourage others to nominate their favourites.

Winning a Best of Kelowna award is no small feat, but the rewards are truly incredible. Previous recipients have seen a huge impact on their business because of this recognition, and we can't wait to see who will take home the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards this year.

Miss Kelowna Lady of the Lake had their sponsor night on Monday February 12th. I am sponsoring a candidate - Miss Claremar Delivery Service Maya Courtney!! Looking forward to seeing how she progresses during the next 5 months.

Just got back from a signing meeting - there is going to be another “Miss Claremar Delivery Service” for 2024. I am sponsoring a candidate again for the Miss Kelowna Lady of the Lake. This is my 3rd time in the past 4 years sponsoring a candidate and I also sponsor the “Area Knowledge” Bursary. I’m looking forward to seeing how my candidate does in the next 6 months. It is such a terrific program for these young ladies.

Tonight is the night that we say goodbye to the current Lady of the Lake royalty ambassadors Lily & Arianna and find out who will be riding the float for 2022/2023. Even though we didn’t get to do too many parades with them, we did have lots of fun and they won 1st Place awards in 3 out of 4 parades they attended. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours. I wish all the current candidates the best of luck tonight and fingers crossed 🤞 that my candidate London wins tonight.

Well another Christmas delivery season done. It has been a very busy month and a challenge with deliveries due to the flower wholesaler and other stores receiving some of their flowers late. The drivers I had this year were just wonderful and did an amazing job during the weather & road challenges. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to: Alea, Stuart, Gord, Michelle, Kerri, Kindra & Cheryl - you all did awesome job!!
