Hazeldell Orchards is now closed for the season. Thank you to all our customers for supporting your local growers! Thank you to our fruitstand staff and orchard workers for all you've done to make this another successful harvest and fruitstand season! We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy, fruitful New Year!

Santa is stocking up on apples while our supply lasts... and you should, too! Our last day is this Saturday, December 16.

Please join us for our end-of-season/customer appreciation celebration on Friday and Saturday, December 15th (10-5:30) and 16th (10-4). All remaining apples will be discounted and there will be snacks and hot spiced apple juice.

Unfortunately, we are sold out of pears and apple juice. Hours for the rest of the week are Weds-Fri 10-5:30 and Sat 10-4.

The end is near…our last day for sales this season is Saturday, December 16, so stock up while supplies last! We still have 1st quality Ambrosia apples and discounted Gala, Aurora Golden Gala and Fuji apples. Unfortunately, we are sold out of pears for the season and just today sold our last box of Hazeldell Premium Apple Juice.

Please join us for an end-of-season celebration/sale: Friday, December 15 from 10:00-5:30 and Saturday, December 16 from 10:00-4:00. Snacks, hot apple juice and sales on remaining fruit will be offered.

Hours for the remainder of the season: Tuesday – Friday 10-5:30; Saturdays 10-4:00; Closed on Sunday and Monday.

We have juice! Just pressed, we have our "Hazeldell Premium Blend" juice for sale now. It is a blend of our later varieties of apples. It's great warmed up with spices now that the weather is turning cooler.

Varieties update: We have 1st quality Ambrosia, Gala, Nicola, Empire and Fuji apples as well as small size and second quality Aurora Golden Gala apples. (We have smalls and seconds available in most varieties if you are baking, saucing, drying, etc.) We still have some small size and second quality Bosc and Anjou pears but they are selling fairly quickly.

Effective November 21, we will be making a slight change to our hours: Tuesday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10-4. We will continue to be closed on Sundays and Mondays. We hope to be open until December 16, depending on fruit stock.

Hazeldell Orchards will be closed on Saturday, November 11 for Remembrance Day. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, November 14 at 9:00 a.m.

We currently have first quality D'Anjou pears, Gala, Ambrosia, Salish, Nicola, Empire and Fuji apples. We still have a lot of small sized Aurora Golden Gala apples and Bosc pears as well as seconds in those (and other) varieties. We hope to have juice for sale very soon; we are just waiting for the weather to clear up so the Mobile Juice Factory can press our apples.

Hours this week are Tues-Fri 9-5:30.

Effective immediately, Hazeldell Orchards will be open Tuesday thru Saturday 9:00-5:30, closed on Sundays and Mondays. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We have 1st quality Bosc, Flemish Beauty and D’Anjou pears for sale as well as the last of our ripe Bartlett pears. Apples varieties available include Gala, Ambrosia, Salish and Nicola. Small sized Aurora Golden Gala apples are available while we prepare orders. Once orders are complete, any remaining 1st quality Aurora Golden Gala will be available for sale. Punctured apples (all varieties) are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Thankful, grateful, blessed...yes, that describes our sentiments this Thanksgiving season. Thankful for a successful harvest so far, grateful for our customers, staff and workers and blessed to be a part of a strong and resilient community. We are open 9-5:30 Friday and Saturday of this holiday weekend, closed on Sunday and Thanksgiving Monday. We have ripe Bartlett, Harrow Crisp and Bosc pears for fresh eating right away plus greener Bosc and D'Anjou pears. Also Gala apples, a few Spartans and limited quantities of Ambrosia and Aurora Golden Gala apples as we begin to sort and sell those varieties.

It's almost October and our later varieties of pears and apples are being harvested. New in the fruitstand are D'Anjou pears - these sweet pears need 6-8 weeks in a cool spot to ripen but they are well worth the wait. If you put them in the fridge, you can enjoy them into the new year. Also newly picked are the Aurora Golden Gala apples. These popular, sweet apples will be available on a limited basis to begin with as harvesting these delicate beauties takes time. We still have lots of Bartlett, Harrow Crisp, Flemish Beauty, and Bosc pears and Gala apples. Soon to arrive: Ambrosia and Spartan apples.

We will be closed on Monday, October 2 in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We'll be open Tuesday thru Saturday 9-5:30.

Fall is in the air and our Bosc pears are now available in the fruitstand. The Bosc are firm and sweet, needing a cool place to ripen. Other varieties available: Bartlett, Harrow Crisp, Flemish & Seckel pears and Silken & Gala apples. The Silken won't be available for much longer as we are picking the last of them. We are sold out of Aurora pears and Sunrise & Mac apples.

Hours are Monday - Friday 9-5:30; Closed on Sundays and the upcoming stat holidays.

We are picking the first Gala apples of the season! Here's an updated list of available varieties: Bartlett, Aurora, Harrow Crisp, Hull & Flemish Beauty pears; Silken and Gala apples. We have just a few Silken apples available at the moment, but will be picking more so we should have some ready for sale by Tuesday. We also should have Mac apples available by mid-week.

Hours are Monday - Saturday 9-5:30; Closed Sundays. We are open regular hours on Labour Day, Monday, September 4.

The sun is setting on the Sunrise Apples. We have a few first quality Sunrise apples remaining for sale and then some 2nd quality and small size apples left. We are eagerly awaiting the next varieties of apples (Silken, Mac, Gala) but are giving them time to ripen a bit more.

The good news .... the Harrow Crisp pears are picked and ready for sale. Also newly picked are the Flemish Beauty pears which are living up to their name this year. Usually victims of frost damage with lots of russeting, they are clean and truly beautiful this year. They are a mildly sweet pear with a hint of spice.

Thank you to all who have visited us the past two days as we get up and running for the season! It's been great to see familiar faces (and some new!) In addition to our Bartlett pears and Sunrise apples, we now have sweet Aurora pears for sale.

Opening day for the 2023 season is Monday, August 21. We have Bartlett Pears and Sunrise Apples for sale, plus a small amount of crabapples, Transparent apples and apricots.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected directly and indirectly by the fires and are so grateful for our firefighting heroes and all the volunteers and charities who are helping in any way they can.

Our fruit is getting ready for harvest! We anticipate opening sometime during the week of August 21st, depending on the fruit; stay tuned!

And thank you to our awesome staff in the fruitstand and our workers in the orchard, who worked so hard through the season. We couldn’t do it without you!
