Saturday is my fun day! I had a few lovely grads in for makeup this morning 💛

One of the beautiful bridesmaids whose makeup I did for a wedding last week.

Saturday was a day for glamming up and going out on the town! We had grads, brides and ladies simply wanting to look their best. My favourite colour of the day was this teal green shade, paired with copper and gold.

This was an exceptionally fun makeup day, simply because I’ve known both of these women forever and a day; and with all of the talent and energy in the room, you couldn’t help but gel perfectly. The shoot was a breeze.

My mom made me learn how to look after my skin before I was allowed to wear makeup. I think all mothers should make their children learn that lesson. I have been through hell and back, health-wise, and I am 46, but you’d never know it based on my skin. Also, this photo was taken at 1am under fluorescent light, with no Instagram filters, incase you were wondering. And, no, I am not wearing any concealer, primer, foundation or powder either.

It’s one of the best times of the year to microblade those brows and stop this silliness from happening again.

I can’t emphasize enough, what a dramatic difference a simple lash tint makes.
