A Day in the Life of a Capri Travel Counsellor

• Process inquiries, whether it’s over email, the phone, or walk-ins
• Qualify clients and design and book itineraries based on their requests. This may include tours, flights, hotels, vacation packages, travel insurance, etc.
• Have a working knowledge of various suppliers and tour operators
• Be familiar with and/or competent with a GDS (Apollo/Galileo, Sabre etc).
• Assist clients with travel-related questions, including passport information, travel insurance, destination activities, currency questions, etc.
• Work in a team environment and help other team members when and if they are out of the office.
• Stay current with travel industry issues (airport closures, travel rules, resort renovations, travel news)
