Good morning hobo peeps! I hope you are enjoying the sunshine today! Feels like spring is just around the bend! I still need to get the leaves up… whew the winter came upon us…sooo very quickly this season! Speaking of the spring season… it comes with change… new growth, and new life…i was cleaning out my flower garden yesterday and noticed the daffodils poking up through the still cold ground… and it reminded me of new beginnings! We are going to be embarking on another beginning at the hobo soon! I am hoping to be open to the public again for lunch service by April 1,2023 ( hopefully the jokes not on us..🤦‍♀️..oi vey) I am seriously looking forward to seeing each and everyone of ya! Your my peeps… ya know? Its been a long haul soo far, but we will get there! Some of my plans worked out and some did not… as life sometimes hands ya lemons rather than a sweet tangerine! I want to thank everyone who has been reaching out to me over the last couple of months… its been “the best of times, but also the worst of times” Your support, emails, messages and check ins and the “we miss you!! “ message written in the dust on my canopy window of the truck brightened my day when i needed it most… i thank you! We did not end up leasing the renegade location… as the lease just was not right. And, if there is one thing i have learnt about business during this time… if the lease is not right… don’t sign it… no matter what situation you find yourself in! There is one thing i do know… about my life now as the clincher to my existence… important lessons learnt… i am rich in people, and in this life that is all that really matters! We have lost a couple of our people who worked on the floor and will be hiring… Haruka headed back to Japan to finish her schooling… and our Jana is at home nursing a injury… it will be awhile until she can join us again thats for sure!! Get well soon darling, you will be dearly missed! The hubby and i have been working hard to get back open, he is at the shop now waiting for some stainless steel… fingers crossed kitchen gets put back together today 🤞Drywalling is happening tomorrow, so its coming together! ( slowly but surely) Then i gotta paint… batta boom, batta bing… back in the kitchen 😉 cooking up all your favs! Am i making things sounds easy.. lol… the hubby has been working sooo very hard… whew… love that man… and he will still follow me anywhere!
